@Seeker, congratz……
was there subneting questions?
@Andy1., s, about 4
@Seeker, Ok, when i scheduled my exam, they wrote ::::::::::
Length of exam: 140mins.
Does it mean that is the actual time they will give me?
No, 20 min to display the type of quetions
Be given 120.
hi @Seeker , how did you practice those question? did you use VCE file? there is pkt file for every problem?
I only review the question and answer. Could you please help me how can I practice of those problem? because i have pdf file.
@ Natalie still didn’t take the exam yet but i’m reviewing the book I saw that Giant frame generally are larger than 1518, so I think the answer will be 1600, that what I saw now in the book, Runts error smaller than 64 bytes and Giant error larger than 1518.
if three devices plugged into one port on a switch and two devices are plugged into a different port how many collision domain?
I could not figure the topology “how three devices can be plugged into one port of a switch”? and two devices are plugged into a different port (that means two devices are connected into teo port?)
MM, thank you! Will keep it mind. I am still going tomorrow! Wish me luck!!!
Just took the ICND1 today. I didn’t pass.. got a 820. A lot of the questions were on 332.
Guess Ill give it another shot next week.
Goodluck Natalie!!!…..
Andy1, thank you!!! My fingers crossed! Will leave my tips back tomorrow after exam.
@ Natalie I passed today ICND1 with 88x i’m so happy, good luck for just don’t be worry, keep repeat 332q from Jolie 90% from it!! i was really happy
@ Natalie
http://www.mediafire.com/file/59rmo77ee82sx1i/Cisco.Premium.100-105.by.VCEplus.332q+VCE+%2B+DOCUMENTS.zip
@ Natalie for labs they change little bit, like for NTP server question the answer in my exam was NTP didn’t configure on R2 not that NTP incorrect config for R1 server, something like that
@ Natalie I saw
q275 in 332questins pdf, which table display MAC address……
q 267 which statement effect of the copy run start…..
q 264 which RFC was created to alleviate the depletion….
q 261 which network topology allows all traffic to flow through central….
q 257 which device allows user to connect to the network….
q 266 which statement describes the effect of the overload….
q 273 which technique can you use to route IPv6 traffic….
and a lot of questions just keep repeat the 332 whole questions is 90% from it
wish you good luck Natalie
MM, congrats!!! You did a great job!!! Thank you for your tips – I am nervous but it’s really helps!!! I still have some time tomorrow morning, like 5 hours – will repeat the questions. Have you used questions from this website? I believe a lot of them matching 332 dumps? Thank you!!!
MM, did you get the question about giant error? Also which is correct answer for RFC?
MM, also how many labs did you get? Did you need to do some configurations like host name etc, or something more complicated when you configure lab yourself from 0?
Congratz @MM, am happy for you. Mine is 7th…… Really on it bumper to bumper.
TO EVERYONE PLEASE:
Incase there is any recent/slight change in question format, please don’t hesitate to let us know. thank you all.
@Natalie, is like we are almost on same time now, just rescheduled mine to tomorrow 3rd, but it seems u will write before me because of time zone. Will like to get update from you too.
Thanks, The lord is with you, you must scale through.
Hello
I passed 100-105 today with 8xx
No OSPF.
98% questions from 332q, big thank Jolie for dump is valid. 9tut helpful resource.
@Anonymous, happy for you.
which lab did you get?
@Andy1 telset security and rip
Andy 1, thank you! I will get updates once I am done.
@Natalie, ok……. go well.
@Natalie I got two labs, one is for security issue, about the password not encrypted and inapropriate word in banner and these stuff, and other for NTP, DHCP issue, and ACL issue because every lab has 5 questions.
I didn’t see Giant error question
and RFC I chose 1519 but I don’t know if it true or not cause i got 78% network fundamental. but I saw in CISCO website 1519 is for CIDR which make it scenes
No configuration just used show run, show int brief , it was enough for me
@ Andy1 thank you! and good luck, just repeat 332q and you will be safe
@Anonymous congrats!
Failed . scored below <832 . most of them are from 332q. some new question about NTP
@Lackadaisical_Cisco sorry, u will still make it, just buckle up…..
which lab did you get?
the simple lab security and ACL
Same lab in 332q
@Lackadaisical_Cisco, i will memorise it again, mine is few hours from now
Thanks to God my Lord…… Just passed ICND1 right now……. score 9xx/1000………
All my questions from A-Z is from 9tut & 332q, from beginning to end.
I got DHCP & Security but with different config.
Just study you 9tut & 332q, you are good to go.
Thanks to every one here for the experiences shared. You can feel free to ask me any question, i will answer you asap. Very happy right away…….
@Andy1 Congrats,
Any tips you can give us?
332q and 9tut are enough ?
thanks
@AA, More than enough even. i mean all my questions from A-Z from this two resource…… same lab(DHCp & Security), different config but i used same idea. Just know how to troubleshoot that is the basics. if you know what you are doing, its very easy. i was given 2hrs but i spent only 50mins because all the questions has been memorised.
Goodluck.
thinking of taking icnd1 Sept, but will start preparation now, any suggestion of materials to use, that official guide is too bulky
MM, Andy1, passed yesterday with very good score 9XX- thank you for support. My labs were Security and DHCP. For DHCP lab make sure you understand the configurations because there will be not right answers by learning dumps. 9tut and Jolie’s dumps have almost the same questions. Studied only 9tut and only check dumps on the day of my exam – took me 4 hours and the new questions I found were on the last few pages, so if you study only 9tut like me you will be good. The folder provides by Jolie has also packer Tracer labs, I did all of them – it was a big help and also has my favorite book – Cisco Press Guide, that’s will be enough to practice and get all your theory from. The exam had about 4 new questions about NAT and something default, so if you know the theory it’s easy to guess the correct answer. No OSPF questions, only the one where the answer is OSPF is the link-state protocol. Good luck! Andy1 and MM, see you on ICND2 pages?
@ Natalie Congraaats!! good job very good score! can you copy here the link of pages of ICND2 to make sure i’m not missing any page please 🙂 , let’s do our best and pass ICND2 !!! so excited!
@ Lackadaisical_Cisco it’s ok i recommend you to schedule next week don’t waste time just repeat the 332 q and you will pass it
@ Andy1. congraaats!
@ sayusuf
http://www.mediafire.com/file/59rmo77ee82sx1i/Cisco.Premium.100-105.by.VCEplus.332q+VCE+%2B+DOCUMENTS.zip
don’t waste time and start read every single word in this link, you will find pdf with 332 q , test has about 90% form these questions, see my comments up I mention some questions i saw in my test which was on Mon. and the link has packet tracer are almost same labs in the test little bit different questions for NTP and DHCP just make sure to understand it very well
good luck and don’t waste time just start cause you have now the best guide, 332 q from Jolie still 90% valid
Ok @MM, & @Natalie, i am there in ICND2 page already. meet you guyz there
@ Andy1. could you please copy the link of that page here?
here it is https://www.9tut.net/icnd2-200-105/share-your-icnd2-v3-0-experience
happy that i met you guyz here, all of you are wonderful
Andy1. Thank you!! let’s start our ICND2 journey, Good luck 🙂
MM, Andy1, thank you, guys! See you there!
Passed ICND1 Yesterday! There were alot of quetions about IPV6, Administrative Distances, Subnetting, VLSM, IPV4 & IPV6 Tunneling Types, Alot of switching questions like what would a siwth or router will do if it recives the following Frame… Thos type of quesstions, the Lab was about Configs like passwords on console, exec and vty lines, Telnet and SSH and also ACL’s, Lots of NAT questions and DEFAULT and Static routes! study hard and youll be fine!
ICND 2 Here is go!
Thank you @MM
Please answer this question:
After you configure a default route to the Internet on a router, the route is missing from the routing table. Which option describes a possible reason for the problem?
A. The next-hop address is unreachable.
B. The default route was configured on a passive interface.
C. Dynamic routing is disabled.
D. Cisco Discovery Protocol is disabled on the interface used to reach the next hop.
Which is it A or B? Please provide a good explanation. I think it’s B, because the ‘next hop unreachable’ is a result of applying this command to a passive interface.
@ Johnny I read this and i did a lot of researches, I believe that B) configured on a passive interface the only one make scenes, cause in OSPF for example Hello packet do create the table of route information. and if you want to limit its propagate you will config that interface as a passive to not exchange hello packet any more, so table will not receive hello from that interface then all information about routing will not be add to the route table? that how I understand it
Hi all,
quick heads up. I believe Q. 239 is incorrect.
DHCPv6 is statefull. A host requires an IPv6 server for IP assignment and is thus stateful.
IPv6 autconfig is built in. Hosts are able to assemble mini likes independent and dynamically outside of a server, router, l3 switch etc. using this feature.
The answer should be D.
Please correct me if I am mistaken.
also hi all 🙂
taking the exam in the relative future.
9tuts been amazing, solid community from what ive seen in the 32+ pages.
Also 272 </3
Try it out on packet tracer. A device can only be identified as inside/outside.
ip nat pool commands can only be assigned from global config.
Once again, please correct me if I am mistaken.
Hi @dz it seems you are right. But we need expert opinion
@ dz q239 i agree with you is wrong answer, cause stateless is EUI-64 in IPv6
@ dz If you read the book he mention a lot that DHCPv6 is stateful and he wrote a note to don’t forget that
Guys, the answer is correct since it can be both stateless or stateful, and even 9tut explain why it is the correct answer – find the questions under IPV6 section and read the explanation
Stateless DHCPv6 – with this option SLAAC is still used to get the IP address, but DHCP is used to obtain “other” configuration options, usually things like DNS, NTP, etc. The advantage here is that the DHCP server is not required to store any dynamic state information about any individual clients. In the case of large networks which has a huge number of end points attached to it, implementing stateless DHCPv6 will highly reduce the number of DHCPv6 messages that are needed for address state refreshment.
Stateful DHCPv6 – functions exactly the same as IPv4 DHCP in which hosts receive both their IPv6 address and additional parameters from the DHCP server. Like DHCP for IPv4, the components of a DHCPv6 infrastructure consist of DHCPv6 clients that request configuration, DHCPv6 servers that provide configuration, and DHCPv6 relay agents that convey messages between clients and servers when clients are on subnets that do not have a DHCPv6 server. You can learn more about DHCP for IPv6 in RFC 3315.
practice questions on :
https://www.ciscovce.com
Passed with 918, Brasil, 99% 9tut questions plus a couple different. Laboratories very similar.
@ Natalie Hmmmm, thank you for explanation
Hi @Natalie @MM ,
Natalie is indeed correct. I scuffled through the readings as well as a Boson book of mine and found the following to additionally elaborate.
Boson CCNA Book, Richard Deal 2015
“In IPv6, DHCPv6 is referred to as Stateful auto-configuration….Before the client can begin, it must first detect a router to determine if the DHCPv6 has been setup up.
If the router specifies that DHCPv6 is supported, the client will begin to find a DHCPvy Server.
Stateless auto-configuration is an EXTENSION of DHCPv6. With stateless no server is necessary to assign IPv6…instead the client uses information in the router advertisement messages…”
@Natalie is correct that 239 is D.
Congrats @Grizzlyer!
Hi all once again,
Can anyone confirm the validity of q127?
In virl on a 2960 IOS Ver, 15.x, i run the commands:
1) config terminal
2) vlan 10
3) do show vlan
the results include the newly formed vlan 10.
Once the results are printed, i am returned to the int-vlan prompt where i originally.
Is this question for an older IOS? Is C still a valid choice over D?
obviously, it is hexadecimal character
@Lackadaisical_Cisco, with regards to what is hexadecimal?
I’ve got:
A The VLAN 10 VTP configuration is displayed.
B VLAN 10 spanning-tree output is displayed.
C The VLAN 10 configuration is saved when the router exits VLAN configuration mode.
D VLAN 10 is added to the VLAN database.
it will be C
this morning i pass ccent 9xx/1000. The questions were exactly the same with 9tut and q332 labs. Now let’s go for icnd 2. Good luck to all of you.
@whitesnake congrats! I wish you success in both your career/ICND2
Please confirm this question is correct:
Identify the four valid IPv6 addresses. (Choose four)
A. ::
B. ::192.168.0.1
C. 2000::
D. 2001:3452:4952:2837::
E. 2002:c0a8:101::42
F. 2003:dead:beef:4dad:23:46:bb:101
The dump says ABEF. Is this correct and why?
Are C and D network addresses? Please explain thank you.
B is not a ipv6
@Jolie, I disagree that B is incorrect. I read that the last 64 bits CANNOT end in zeroes, like C and D.
Anyone please tell me if I’m wrong.
Hey guys, I took my ICND1 exam in February and failed marginally. I am going to re take it in a few weeks and am wondering if the pass score is still the same or will it be 5% higher? I got the impression that I will need a higher percentage to pass from Tod Lam’s book. Any help will go a long way. Thanks and good luck to you all.
Question 8

C. The VLAN 10 configuration is saved when the router exits VLAN configuration mode.
D. VLAN 10 is added to the VLAN database.
The dump says answer D. Why is this? Why is it not C instead? Please explain it a different way than the dump.
@Andy1 ,@MM, & @Natalie -Could you please share the link for the latest Dump please and any new question which you guys found on the exam
Thanks

Thanks guys…just a quick question, are the Sims also included in the icnd2PDF.pdf?
or are they in a different document? please guys am taking this exam on Thursday.
SIMs GRe, OSPF Neighbor, EIGRP
Guyd Did you see any OSPF questions in the ICND1 exam??
@Johnny I would say B. Flow label is the new field in ipv6 because Hop Limit is the same as TTL in ipv4
any new questions or information on ICND1 , my exam is Aug 19
Are there any questions on OSPF? There are few questions in some of the dumps one used, but I’ve had a look at the exam topics and OSPF isn’t stated.

ICND1 booked for the 11th August! Which Sims can I expect to have?
How many OSPF questions in the ICND1 exam?
passed today 88* passing score was 830. Have seen all the questions before but apparently answered incorrectly some of them.
a few examples:
Reserved VLAns (I think 0 and 4095)
RFC 1518 or 1519 wasn’t sure
Nat dynamic or Nat pool as a Nat term for group of addresses
Finished with 30 minutes left
@G Ore Well done. Which sims do you get? Do you use the composite quiz’s?
3.Which RFC was created to alleviate the depletion of IPv4 public addresses?
A. RFC 4193
B. RFC 1519
C. RFC 1518
D. RFC 1918
3.Answer:D
This question has been bugging the hell out of me! is it D or something else.
From techtarget.com “RFC 1918 facilitates expansion of the usable number of IP addresses available under IPV4, as a stopgap solution to prevent the exhaustion of public IPs available before the adoption of IPV6”
I passed with 9**/1000. Try for icnd2
@Bill, SIM is the same as here, different config, questions: DHCP (incorrect pool), NAT (incorrect statement), ACL and something else i don’t remember. I was doing composite, netacad and Pearson tests. Took me couple years with a bunch of breaks to get motivated and schedule the test. Will try to finish ICND2 by the end of 2017
