Hey there. I passed this exam last week and I also had most of the questions posted by ANON. I am not sure about 0.0.0.0 being a default gateway – I chose that this is the gateway of last resort. Was I correct or no?

I had also a question about CEF (Which techonology save the destination address in the cache) and other posted by gareth.

I seems that you have an easy way now, a week or two ago we didn’t have the opportunity to get familiar with these new questions 🙂

There were also questions from Jolie’s dumps – about 30-40% I guess.

What is the maxium MTU on 802.1q link : it will NOT be 1522 . Because MTU is Payload so with a 802.1q tag the max MTU size doesnt change. The total FRAME SIZE increases from 1518 to 1522. SO careful when you read the question if it says whats the max MTU the answer will be 1500 if the quaetion asks what the max frame size with 802.1q then the answer will be 1522.

Got the security and DHCP,NAT,NTP sims. Same topology with different answers.

So in the ” new questions ” tab that 9tut has on the right hand side-they have put max MTU. so that needs to be changed. I agree if they are asking max frame 1522 is the correct answer.

Saw this question today and am not sure to decide between answer B & D

Question: A Router is deployed with the default factory settings. If a user on the router mistypes a command, which option is the result?
