The question Which dynamic routing protocol uses only the hop count to determine the best path to a destination?
It is marked as EIGRP, but the correct should be RIP.

24 – the interface as an access port to allow the voice VLAN ID (is correct)

40 – question is wrong (below i think is the right [from gratis exam] one with D correct)
Which option is a valid hostname for a switch?

D. SwitchCisc0

44 – remote conections to routerA using telnet will suceed (not sure it has “no login” right after line vty 0 4) I would need to verify it in packet tracer.

PS: Is it easy and fast to create a sim like you did for 170 questions?

The multiple choice test sim is really helpful. THANK YOU! The sims you put up were also very good. My only suggestion would be to make them look more like sims seen on an exam with more network devices.

I believe that “no login” on a vty line means that you not be prompt for a password. Also, what are the 170 questions you are talking about? The ones from here and gratsiexam?

24 – Thanks, will look into this one, as my knowledge on the subject is weak.

40 – Was from a post on this forum, someone said they had one which asked which one was a invalid hostname. Have made sure the valid hostname question is in there as well.

44 – If “no login” is present, the telnet session will get onto the router without the need for usernames or passwords.

170 questions will take a while to make, not sure if there is a quicker way of doing it.

Just tested the download on that link and all is good. just copy the whole folder out of the zip file and open the “index” file in a web browser.

Have now made the RIPv2 sims closer to the ones that have been linked. Also included the base model, so you can try other things with it.

Admin, could you please update these answers in the composite exams for primary users? The second answer does not show up as an option in the practice exam but it comes up as a correct answer later. I used the old CBTNuggets for 100-101 and then for the new stuff that is on the 100 -105 exam, I used the week free trial to get the new nuggets.

I see in the questions that everybody is posting, that there isn’t questions related to license management, IOS management or related. Does anyone remember if in his exam had question like this?

Pl explain the lab Question 95-98:
To get to Router A and Switch A configs we have to use simulated console. What are the STEP PROCESS to activate/access the simulated switch A and Router A CONSOLE and get to the enable mode to see both the router/switch prompt and configs?

If i understood you, on those labs all you need to do is apply command “show running-config” to see the configuration so you know how to answer the questions

It states that the show running-configuration and the show startup-configuration commands have been disabled in this simulation. Do we need to press return to start the console and use the IOS commands?

I just pass my CCENT V3 yesterday. The dump that is been circulating around has half of the exam. The other stuff were brand new. I am glad I passed with 839

-I was surprised to see at least 5 questions with the access-list
-Couple of them insisted on the icmp time to return to the sending computer
–Finally, I had four Simlet questions. One with only show commands, the second and third was about the access-list and finally, the third one was about security.

RIPv2 has more focus.

How the ICND1v3 exam better covers the big picture, including collapsed core, DNS, DHCP, Firewall, and WAPs/Controllers.

hi guys, i cant remember the questions word to word, but there were a lot of questions on ACL’s and quite a few on CDP. The lab/sims was similar to the ones dave has on the quiz thing, there was a new one with NAT and DHCP, basically asking if ACL is correctly configured, why router 2 cant reach server1, why users cant access any web pages, all to do with ACL, NAT and DHCP. Sorry that I can’t remember everything to the point. But definitely know ACL well. There was a question on CDP (choose 3 statements that describe what CDP does). 3 subnetting questions. Dave’s quiz is a good start, there were about 10-15questions from daves quiz. But there were a lot of questions that have not been mentioned here so prepare for that, and most of them were about ACL’s and NAT. A lot of questions that involve ip route x.x.x.x x.x.x.x and then you need to say what it achieves from a diagram. My ACL and NAT wasnt great so I think thats where i lost a lot of marks and on CDP questions as I didnt know much about it, CDP had like 5 questions if not more. it was my first time and I failed, but I’m happy with the result, had 54 questions needed 834 to pass I got 708 from studying only for the last 2 days. (couldn’t reschedule the exam so took it as an experience or practice test and I’m quite happy.) good luck to everyone.

Hello everyone… I did ICDN1 last saturday, and all the questions in the exam were those you were putting here, the simlet was exactly the same.
