Share your ICND2 v3.0 Experience
The new ICND2 200-105 exam has come to replace the old ICND2 200-101 exam. We create the “Share your ICND2 v3.0 Experience” for everyone to share their experience after taking this exam.
Note for ICND2: There are no VRRP, GLBP, NetFlow and NAT questions (and they are not technologies learned in this exam).
Please share with us your experience after taking the ICND2 200-105 exam, your materials, the way you learned, your recommendations… But please DO NOT share any information about the detail of the exam or your personal information, your score, exam date and location, your email…
Could someone help me here …
What term describes the port on a network segment that is closest to the root bridge in terms of cost?
– Root port
– Designated port
– Non-designated port
– Disabled port
@mir Had this question on the exam. Answer is A, Root Port.
taking icnd2 tomorrow. can anyone tell me if there are configuration sims or just troubleshooting such as ospf, eigrp and gre on this website
Guys – Joe/Ned dumps are totally valid, thanks a ton to them and 9tut.
Passed just now. Please dont ask me to share the dumps again, i would only be duplicating it.. it’s all here, just go previous pages to find it.
The labs are the same but the questions are different, so make sure you know your stuff..
Use “show ip protocols” it saves a lot of time. Also use show ip ospf interface this works.
Whats more annoying in the labs are
Show running-conf | section or include commands don’t work
show running-conf inter dont work
Show inter — dont work either
so if you want to compare the interfaces of 2 connected devices use “show running-config” to go down to the interface level..
Good luck all and thanks to 9tut again
sorry, show interface of course works
I understand that studying the dumps enough anyone can pass, but to truly understand the underlying concepts, does anyone have experience with the new 200-105 cbt nuggets? I just don’t want to have to read the official cert guide like I did for 100-105… Ugh
Yes Jeremy’s videos are good enough but i have the 2013 ones which does not cover a lot of new topics.. and yes dumps alone is not going to take anyone anywhere, if you go by that route you’ll fail for sure and LAB is an example ..
theres a torrent web page that is invite only called IP torrents where you can d/l the new 200-105 vidz. I don’t personally have an account there, just a friend and a thumb drive haha.
Passed today with 8** above 880
This site is spot on…like someone said before…the best 9.**$ paid ever
pass loader is crap…just leave it out..
13 to 15 totally new questions
Hey Guys. Does anyone where I can find CCNP Stuff. Any links or websites similar to 9tut. Appreciate it.
@xenit
look at the right navigation pane. CCNP links are at the bottom.
Hey guys, were there any “Cisco APIC-EM ACL Analysis Application” questions? Thanks.
Conspicuous and Failed twice, do you guys remember any new questions? Thank you
Smoked it today.. 9xx
Neb’s and Joe’s files were spot on for the most part.
Saw a couple of new Q’s, sadly, I forgot them between answering them and getting home.
Sims were GRE, OSPF and EIGRP, but some of the Q’s were a little different and configs changed.. glad I paid attention.
Rote memorization won’t quite cut it folks.. you need to understand why the answers are what they are, or you’re not going to pass.
@core congratulation for passing
which dump did you use ? could you share it please
does there any netflow Q ?
I have an exam in a week. Just stumbled on this site, have done CBT nuggets lets see. Going through the site now.
For those who passed recently, which SIMS did you all get. Please let me know
~thehandsomeguy~ Did you do the 200-105 nuggets, and if so did it hit every exam objective?
Like some 100 times mentioned here ,… SIMS were EIGRP, OSPF and GRE Only.. no change required .. just show command to see whats wrong ..

APIC-EM periodically scans the network to create a “single source of truth” for IT. This inventory includes all network devices, along with an abstraction for the entire enterprise network. The NIDB allows applications to be device-independent, so configuration differences between devices aren’t a problem
Creates an intelligent, open, programmable network with open APIs
Hey Guys, Where are the question for lastest update on 200 105 exam, because the anwers are not in the same order that PDF with question.
answer is A
Router(config)# ipv6 router ospf 1
Router(config-router)# distribute-list prefix-list PL1 in Ethernet0/0
Router(config-router)# distribute-list prefix-list PL2 out bgp 65
is distributing ipv6 routes to bgp
Guys, Where i can find VCE full version?

diagnose a duplex mismatch problem?
Late collisions – are usually caused by duplex mismatches, in a duplex mismatch the collisions seen on the half-duplex side of the link are often LATE COLLISIONS. The full-duplex side usually will register FCS (frame check sequence) errors, or RUNTS.
Answer is D
@ Degung. Could you write the questions that you already answered please
I mean the question and the answer
if you want to see vce file, on this page
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XIZrJJG7AU
just passed the 200-105 exam on the first try, with the help of pass4sure study material, thanks a lot http://www.pass4surekey.com/exam/200-105.html for providing the updated and valid learning material.
Right,
I just finished the study guide and starting now to do questions. ICND1 I enjoyed but ICND2 sucks to me.
I am gonna do all the ICND200-105 v3 at the right of the website, should I do the ICND200-101 too?
I downloaded too the VCE file from Neb which I will do after,
ANY OTHER RECCO??
Thank you!
just passed 1 hour ago. 8 **
tip: focus on the SIM (eigrp, ospf and GRE) y0u will n0t get the c0rrect answer if y0u just mem0rize the answers(this is very true d0nt ign0re) practice the SIMs and read ab0ut eigrp, 0spf and review subnetting
0bjectives are in NEB vce,, 8 new questins aii
Share, please, the latest dumps.
Refers Nebs vce in this site ..practise and familiar EIGRP,OSPF, ip routing, back to subnetting, PPP chap authentication
Anyone took the new ICND2v3 exam in Scandinavia? Still valid with Neb’s and Joe’s dumps? Thanks!
Can anybody explain what is the BGP sim about?, more than a few have said they got it in their exam but I haven’t seen any comment about it, not even in the sim section of this amazing site. Thanks guys!
Thank you 9tut! Passed 8xx/1000, mainly used 9tut, but also CBT Nuggets and Google to clarify concepts and terms/acronyms. Make sure when studying the questions and labs you understand why the answer is the correct one and the wrong answers are the wrong ones. There are already many explanations but make sure to look something up and “highlight” if you are not sure about some terminology or process. Work hard and study effectively! Best of luck
Cleared ICND2 with 900.Sims toplogy were same but configuration was different.I studied official guide and 9tut.
Yo, were you able to use “show running-config” in Sims?
Yes.All I used for all those sims was show run
If anyone could send me links or packet tracer files with SIM questions for GRE, OSPF, EIGRP I would really appreciate it.

Can anyone comment on this question? – http://imgur.com/a/aaXC0
I am getting conflicting answers. One source says, the answer should be A, while the other suggests, it should be B.
hey 9tut
sometimes i dnt see login option on my laptop
whats wrong with ur site?
@Grimraven its B for sure.
Which Cisco platform can verify ACLs?
a. Cisco Prime Infrastructure
b. Cisco Wireless LAN Controller
c. Cisco APIC-EM
d. Cisco IOS-XE
9tut says b, but… c is also considered, how do you think?

All the debated questions in this forum are in the exam including above you ask..so you better search to google
@Jack&Jack the answer for your questions is C.
@Grimraven Correct answer is B!
@Xenit: Thank you! Any chance you have lab sims for ICND2 200-105 exam? I was looking at them on 9tut, but some of them are dating back to 2011. Are they still good?
Looking through the ICND2 200-105 part of 9tut. The materials contain the answers only. Where can I get the questions? I suppose the questions are up-to-date, aren’t they?
Have you ever retake ICND2v3 exam? Did the question were the same/similar to the first attempt?
New added questions look consistent with other Cert sites. So I would say is pretty much updated to the latest. Good job
Rob,
Could you or someone that has the file email me with your file please? kl5328-tst (at) gmail (com)
Thanks
Can anyone who cleared the exams recently please advise which SIMS did they get in their exams please.
3 sims 0SPF, EIGRP AND GRE.
Thanks Degung, so all the 3 are from here right – no Frame Relay SIM anymore as its out of the new syllabus right
frame relay already out of the topic, frame relay is now dead. please be informed that sims posted here is easy in compare in actual exam,,so practice the topic EIGRP, OSPF and GRE
Passed today 9XX,
Study: 9tut, Nebs vce file is still valid-practise it
PassLea*** has a lot of wrong answears, measureitup – don’t buy it don’t waste 100$!
Few new questions: ICMP SLA, SDN – APIC always is answer!, no frame-realy
Good luck!
Thanks Debung,
Just passed today 9**
SIMS are EIGRP,OSPF and GRE, same questions but diffrenet config (time consuming as it hurt your score if you missed out)
8 new questions
could any one give the correct answer for the below please. At some places it says A and C and some A and D …thanks in advance
Which two circumstances can cause collision domain issues on VLAN domain? (Choose
two.)
A. duplex mismatches on Ethernet segments in the same VLAN
B. multiple errors on switchport interfaces
C. congestion on the switch inband path
D. a failing NIC in an end device
E. an overloaded shared segment
Hi guys, passed the exam earlier today with 930. Thanks to the site and everyone that has contributed. I had all 3 sims (gre, ospf and eigrp), like others have said the same setup but different questions. Pretty much all the questions were from the amended vce file from a few pages back, but a few new ones too. Good luck!
Hello,
Please can someone share with latest dumps please? Highly appreciated
@ silver 1
Another case to be considered is a particular NIC performance problem. If a NIC with a performance problem is connected to a shared segment, then it may appear that a whole segment is experiencing slowness, especially if the NIC belongs to a server that also serves other segments or VLANs. Keep this case in mind because it may mislead you as you troubleshoot. Again, the best way to narrow down this issue is to perform a data transfer between two hosts on the same segment (where the NIC with the supposed problem is connected), or if only the NIC is on that port, isolation is not easy, so try a different NIC in this host, or try connecting the suspected host on a separate port, ensuring proper configuration of the port and NIC.

Guys, the question is
Which part of the PPPoE server configuration contains the information used to assign an IP
address to a PPPoE client?
A. virtual-template interface
B. DHCP
C. dialer interface
D. AAA authentication
The written answer is C. But the question is about the SERVER configuration, not client. I thought that server part would not be mention ed in icnd2. Where is the truth?
UrphinJuice:
The answer is A. virtual-template client
passed last week with that answer 🙂
Silver,
the answer should be:
A and E
If shared segment (segment means broadcast domain=vnetwork=vlan) is congested than collision could occur
UrphineJuice an JaoshJuice …Thanks for your answers
looking at the article you quoted above, i think A and E look more appropriate, although A and D look close too.
all the most debated questions in this site are in my exam, so u better folks search too cisco sites before deciding which of those u need to choose int actual exam..
Share please with latest dumps.
Does anybody know exactly the answer for the Question 2 from OSPF Questions 3 section?
Assume that all of the router interfaces are operational and configured correctly. How will
router R2 be affected by the configuration of R1 that is shown in the exhibit?
A. Router R2 will not form a neighbor relationship with R1.
B. Router R2 will obtain a full routing table, including a default route, from R1.
C. R2 will obtain OSPF updates from R1, but will not obtain a default route from R1.
D. R2 will not have a route for the directly connected serial network, but all other
I suppose that because of the loop, the neighbor relations would not be made… But 9tut say that there is a typo in the question…
Hello< , guys that pass or try to pass exam, answer plz:
Did you see some Frame-Relay questions ?
In Neb’s dumps there is a question about Inverse ARP. I suppose it should be Frame Relay question… Was it really in the exam?
Are there NetFlow questions on the exam?
Frame relay is already out of topic, frame relay already dead and additional topic is SDN, and no ipv6 on my exam
I’ve been seeing past commenters say there is no Drag & Drop on ICND2. Can anyone who has taken the test RECENTLY confirm this??? I am taking the test next week. Much obliged…
After you configure a new router to connect to a host through the Gi 0/0 port of the router. you log in to the router and observe that the new link is down. which actions corrects the problem.
A: Configure the host to use R1 as the default gateway
B: Use a straight through cable between the host and R1
C: Use a crossover cable between the host and R1
D: Use a rollover cable between the host and R1
Dan note says ” C ” but i think its ” A ”
you can only select one answer.
A host connecting to a router requires a crossover cable. Answer is C.
Thanks Blizzard.
VCE A+ requires to purchase this app. Is there any other VCE player that i can use for free?
You enter the show ipv6 route command on an ospf device and the device displays a route. Which conclusion can you draw about the enviroment?
A: OSPF is distributing IPV6 routes to BGP
B: The router is designated as an ABR
C: The router is designated as totally stubby
D: OSPFv3 is in use <
any idea which one is right?
Which part of the PPPoE server configuration contains the information used to assign an IP address to a PPoE client?
A: Virtual-template interface
B: DHCP
C: Dialer interface
D: AAA authentication
i think its A but Dan notes says C
Mikey,
This question was already discussed earlier.
They, who answers C suppose that there is a mistake in question because server configuration is out of scope of icnd2. If not, then A is the part of server config.
Share with the latest dumps, please
If you post about what you saw on the test, let me know if you got any Drag n Drops. Thanks.
A question for anyone who took the exam — how different were the Sim (OSPF, EIGRP, and GRE) questions from the ones here? Did they ask the same topics? Thanks
Does anyone have a link to the Nebs VCE file they would mind sharing with me? Thanks
Is there a way to open Nebs VCE file other than purchasing A+ VCE player. I have a test on this coming week and stuck with this VCE player.
Passed today 860 used Nebs VCE and this site. Sims were GRE,OSPF and EIGRP. No drag and drop. Everything you need is on this site. Bets $18 I’ve ever spent, passed ICND1 and 2 almost solely using this site. Good luck.
There were a few new questions that I haven’t seen on here:
1. Reasons for slow VLAN (pick three):
a. Broadcast something
b. Slow interVLAN
c. duplex mismatch
d. control plane (maybe?) something
e. xxx plane
2. A question about BPDU (pick two):
a. priority 4 bits and mac (??) 12 bits
b. priority 8 bits and mac (??) 16 bits
c.
d.
e.
And a few other questions that I do not remember.
guys i passed icnd2 yesterday. nebs vce is spot on. Most of the questions were from that. However, my advice to y’all be dont just cram the answers rather understand the concepts and know what you are doing. Because at the end of the day we all need to put this in practical. All the best everyone.
Guys, does anyone know any website similar to 9tut for CCNP? Thank you
About a week out from the exam, after 4 months of studying after work and on the weekends. In “go” mode right now for the final push.

BahugBelat, thank you. My thoughts were the same, but 9tut and PassLeader confused me with wrong answers.
One more question:
Which statement about DTP is true?
A. It uses the native VLAN.
B. It negotiates a trunk link after VTP has been configured.
C. It uses desirable mode by default.
D. It sends data on VLAN 1.
Answer: D (9tut, passleader)
Here http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/switches/catalyst-6500-series-switches/24330-185.html#pre6 I found: “On an ISL trunk, DTP packets are sent on VLAN1. This is the case even if VLAN 1 has been cleared from the trunk and is no longer the native VLAN. On an 802.1Q trunk, DTP packets are sent on the native VLAN. This is the case even if the native VLAN has been cleared from the trunk.”
I suppose that 802.1Q is meant in the question, so the right answer should be Native VLAN.
Anybody, please help to determine the truth!
