All 3 of those Qs were on there. There was another about which string to use to determine SNMP server access to the ILMI (or something like it). I chose community string thinking ro/rw access, but have no way of knowing whether my answer was correct.

@John In the same boat as you. IMHO, too many questions from Cisco’s “advertising” section as my ICND2 instructor called the Infrastructure section.

Passed 825/1000. Barely. Questions on dump were valid, but there were a few other questions that I haven’t seen before. From what I can remember something about the default priority setting for when you set a switch to be root. Ill post more if any come to me. Also the GRE/PPP sim was there but I’m pretty sure they switched up the configs and the answers aren’t the same. So actually study and know that and verify by using the show commands

Hey guys I just found this website and just took my test yesterday I got 700 points failed it by 111 points. I studied really hard too, but it seems the best way to learn to see some of the test questions. By looking at the dump some of these questions don’t seem to be correct. Hopefully someone can verify.

Also a question that was like what type of port benefits the most from BPDU and the choices were like designated port, root port, backup port, alternate port, etc.

Yeah dave, it was worded like that. No frame relay obviously. One of the answers was Community strings, so not that specific, don’t remember the other options

“Router(config)#snmp-server community public RO” That could have been an option, I don’t remember that much

Sims were OSPF, EIGRP and GRE Tunnel, just like the on here but changed slightly. Long as you know how to do these ones you will be fine in the exam.

Some of the questions I could not quite remember but gives you can idea of what to look for.

Nope! I tried to get it done in a week haha! Bad call! I still blame my lack of sleep ofc. Was pretty close to be fair. Least I know where my week points are now. Better luck next time I guess.

very strange, Proxy ARP topic is not a part of this exam 🙁

Just make sure you know about snmpv3, I struggled with them questions.
