As someone whose taken the test and failed i cannot stress enough how important knowing the material is. I thought i was ready and i just barely failed because i didn’t give myself enough time to get the SIMs done knowing what i know now to use the show cmds and such should make this better this time around. keep in mind labs labs labs and not just the sims make sure you do a lab of everything you study bunch them up by its main category and go from there. If you can configure the device without needing to look at notes for i would say 99% of it then you know youre good to go and you know the concepts because you have practiced them.

I should be taking my test soon and i feel more confidant then ever. Good luck to everyone !

As far as i know, the best way to disable dynamic trunking is to set the port into ACCESS mode since access ports drop everything that has another type of encapsulation that has a trunk value.

This is 8192. I just tried it on a real switch and changes priority to 8192. 32768 is the default number but the question is asking you about what the command does, not what the default is.

How are you guys studying for the OSPF, EIGRP and GRE sims..?

I cruised through this site, but not able to find anything to prep for them.

I agree some of my questions are incorrect. I am now Comptia A+, Comptia Net+ and CCNA certified. I have never failed an certification exam ever.
I always come here and see what others are saying and doing. Time to complete all command labs in both 1 and 2 books all over again. Good luck to all who take the exam. Study your material and be extremely prepared on the sims because when they come, they come with avengence. PS…pay the 9 dollars and get premium membership or you will not pass exam.

TG – I trained for three and a half months before I took the exam. I took to read the CCNA book in its entirety, practice all the study questions over and over; sometimes over 400 questions a day and read all possible solutions. I went to other sites and took their exams; completed ICDN1 older questions; completed many labs in book and sims on this site. All and All, the test wasn’t too difficult but the SIMS were challenging. Bottomline now, I am A+, Net + and CCNA certified. I might go ahead and get my Linux Certification and learn about that technology but first I’m going to spend the next 120 days doing all the labs in the book and expanding my knowledge about technology when it comes to putting a network together.

Everyone has been saying current sims are GRE, OSPF, and EIGRP. Do you have to confirgure anything on these sims (fix anything) in the exam? Those sims on 9tut are all troubleshooting sims that can be answered with show commands.

Passed my INCD2 exam yesterday with 93X, when the minimum score was 808 (52 questions).

In my exam there was no Drag and Drop, No NAT or ACL LABs, just some basic questions.

You must be master in GRE, EIGRP, OSPF, MLPPP, PAP and CHAP to answer LABs, conf t is disable and limited show commands. (something like “sh ip route con” is not supported) and sh run, sh ip int br, sh ip proto are enable)

Many questions about SNMP, SDN, STP, tou should take a look in this topics.

The ridiculous question of Hosts X, Y was there two. (This question is on page 17)

I passed my ICND2 earlier, very happy! Here’s my experience…
I had the GRE, OSPF and EIGRP sims come up, the topology and the questions were the same as on here but the configurations and therefore the answers were different. It was still fairly easy though and the sims on this site prepared me well.
What I would say though, is that to be sure you fly through the sims when in the test, revise the sims from the point of view of knowing what and where you’ll be looking to prove/disprove each possible answer, don’t just memorise the answers. For instance, know what an EIGRP misconfiguration of mismatched K values would look like.
Other than that, most of the questions are on this site. I’m fairly certain that all the main questions that are causing the most arguments on this site ALL came up. So know what you think the answer is by researching and studying the subject properly, but that’s what everyone should be doing anyway, right?
Last thing, my study aids were the Wendell Odom book and the CBTNuggets videos, both were awesome, supplemented with Pearson IT video series which was still good. The way that I did it was to read a chapter/subject from the book and then follow it up with the video. When I got down to actually understanding the individual questions that were coming up from this site, I found just researching it on the official Cisco website and excellent resource!
Thanks to this site and all the contributors, going to give my studies a break for a bit now and spend some better quality time with my 1 month old son. Cheers!

For me the right answer is APIC-EM, this question was in my exam.

You can take a look in the Offcial Cert Guide, on chapter 28, topic 4.5 Verify ACLs using the APIC-EM Path Trace ACL analysis tool.

I followed the 200-105_Adjsuted. Vce, posted on page 16, it is valid, but you have to double check all answers by yourself and discussing with friends (9tut.net is a very good friend) , there’s some mistakes in that file, less than 10% are mistakes.

Ok @TG you followed the 200-105_Adjusted on p. 16. What vce player did you download and where did you find it from man? Was it on a windows operating system? mac operating system? Can you give us further info my friend?

Just failed on Thursday, I was only short by a few questions. Don’t underestimate Infrastructure, those questions hit me hard! The sims were’t too bad (GRE, OSPF, EIGRP), but the Infrastructure stuff is just a lot of memorization and it did me in.

Also, as others have mentioned, I didn’t have any drag-and-drop.

Benson the simulations are the same as on the dumps m taking it this friday pls help i wrote icnd1 twice i cant afford to do the same with this one plsss

Passed ICDN2 9xx OSPF, EIGRP, and GRE Tunnels in exam but you need to know how to troubleshoot the sims as CISCO ALWAYS CHANGE the configurations but the sim remains the same dont rely too much on the dumps answers

Passed today with a 930!!! finally CCNA Certified.

All i can say is know your troubleshooting, the way i did it was just went to the routers specified in the answers and checked wether the answer was correct or not. I was able to breeze by the sims this way OSPF EIGRP GRE/PPP sims and no other new questions that i can see but for sure had the questions we have been debating over.

Thanks 9tut and all who helped out it seriously helped me pass this being my 3rd time taking it i did not want to fail.I put together a little folder including what i used to study, and some goodies ill let you find in there. Good luck to everyone taking the test

Ramos the answer to that question i selected overloaded shared segment and Duplex Mismatch.
In terms of the Sims Ramos they will change from test to test but i had k value mismatch, route not redistributed into eigrp, i had a configuration on one end of the Point to point GRE tunnel area id mismatch, thats all i can remember for now

mainly i used sh ip protocols as it give a general overview of the running L3 routing Protocols

@mjmatos thanks for the reply. I’m trying to memorize as many as I can. Do you have to spell the whole word out or can you abbreviate like br for brief? What about show run? was that disabled on all sims?

I passed ICND1 exam from USA one month before . i didnot get my certificate yet. How to get my CCENT certification ? They mail to my address ? Please suggest me what i need to do?
