Share your ICND2 v3.0 Experience
The new ICND2 200-105 exam has come to replace the old ICND2 200-101 exam. We create the “Share your ICND2 v3.0 Experience” for everyone to share their experience after taking this exam.
Note for ICND2: There are no VRRP, GLBP, NetFlow and NAT questions (and they are not technologies learned in this exam).
Please share with us your experience after taking the ICND2 200-105 exam, your materials, the way you learned, your recommendations… But please DO NOT share any information about the detail of the exam or your personal information, your score, exam date and location, your email…
Wow I need the dumps pls
Can someone please tell us what kind of sims did you have in the exam? Are the sims VALID?
Has anyone had any drag and drop on the test?
I passed today with a 911. All thanks to this site and the Nebs vce and CBTnuggets. The sims were ospf and eigrp and gre. But the gre sim was so much harder because it threw in ppp and multilink which I didn’t know so much about. study all that and you’ll do fine. the only questions that were a surprise were the sims questions.
@suzyq
Nebs vce? post the link…
thanks.
The vce I used is on page 16 here under Nebs name. He provides the googledrive link.
Passed yesterday with 953. the adjusted file is still valid. the Sim were OSPF, EIGRP and GRE but on the sim there is some question about multi-link also.
Passed my exam today. EIGRP, OSPF and GRE sims. A few new questions on the exam.
Congratulations, sclpp. What link did you use to study?
Thanks. I used 9tut and the study material from my class.
Passed today, EIGRP OSPF and GRE sims. only commands I used were sh ip int bri, sh route and sh run. Overall questions were fairly easy. No drag and drops. All the questions that folks have been back and forth on recently were on there. Not too sure what the proper answers were but I scored pretty high so whatever is in Neb’s vce worked. Do pay special attention to the sims though. The questions were tricky and some of them had multiple correct or at least potential answers. I took an ICND 1 & 2 boot camp a couple months ago and have quite a bit of on the job experience but I mainly prepped using the VCE’s and studying the THEORY of the sims on here. I will be clear in stating that the questions associated to the sims on this site were not the same questions I had on my test today. They were similar but none of them were the same. Understand CHAP/PAP authentication and what proper configuration looks like. Understand GRE tunneling. Understand EIGRP network statements. Understand OSPF hello and dead intervals. And understand OSPF Area’s. If you know how to configure all that stuff or at least what a correct configuration should look like and you memorize all the questions in the VCE’s then you should be fine. The non-sim questions (approx. 50 q’s) took me all of 10-15 minutes because I knew the answers like the back of my hand. I took my time on the sims and checked every answer thoroughly even if I knew the right answer already.
…
done4now, could you please send the neb file that u used, im going to exam next tuesday
hello done4now, do u mean the adjusted file by NEB ?
I used the file that was on page 16 I think. If you go to that page (or maybe 15 by now) it should be on the posted by Neb.
It’s really not a hard exam if you just study and practice.
is there any ip access list questions ?
Yeah there was one or two. Named access lists and valid extended access list number
Alright adjusted file here and adjusted file there nebs files blah blah. HOW DO YOU OPEN A VCE FILE? CAN ANYONE PROVIDE A LINK FOR AN APP HERE OR SOMETHING?!
Hello everyone, for those who took the test were the labs OSPF, EIGRP and GRE / Multilink PPP?
Thanks
where are answers foe adjusted vice?
with explanation
tre1972 – I am using A+ VCE on an android phone. I believe there are PC clients to view them too but I have not tried them.
@Mike, can you please share the questions from the vce file with me man? I do not have an android phone, and I just can’t find any app for my pc…
guys @mjmatos has the most accurate info in my opinion. Since the icnd2 file pdf is the same with the vce file, we should be good to go. I failed the exam today by a few points just because some new questions were not included in @techboricua’s file (or whatever her name is on here). I will get a 2nd shot on the exam very soon. I hope that this time will be ok. But you never know with cisco. They might add new questions again in such a short period of time. Ugh..
@tre
I suggest you to look for more questions online and add those to the ones posted here!
Few of my friends passed doing just that!
@done4now
Do you mean this one?
Which identification number is valid for an extended ACL?
A. 299
B. 1099
C. 64
D. 100
E. 99
F. 1
@done4now
Thanks for posting your experience BTW
@Pl413r be more specific. what websites have your friends used? Have you taken the exam yet?
@tre1972 What kind of questions were those?Do you remember anything?
@mno i can share them with you man, but you will not get the EXACT same questions on your test. I mean.. you might, but all I can say is that every single new question I got (plus the other ones that I’ve been studying from techboricua’s file) is in @mjmatos file that he posted here on page 21. Actually, here it is: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2imx6rougqnla2z/AAAMR_KERfE6fEJy0GYILEQYa?dl=0
who is NEB? are the questions/answers from Bailen chen on the actual exam?
He provided the link which i downloaded. There are about 13 files
Thanks
hey guys, its me again. I just want to double check and see if the pdf’s i downloaded from BAILIN CHEN link are similar to the 200-105 test I will be taking this friday. I bought the OCG book last week and reading as much and as fast as I can. This is a review for me since I already passed it a couple years ago. I’m just re-certifying. I am practicing with packet tracer , but I just want to make sure that the files I downloaded are very close to the questions/answers i will be taking on friday.
THanks
@tre1972 The program I have won’t let me extract the vce to a pdf. I see there is a program that will do it but its kinda expensive. I think I am going to just stick with the vce.
Question for anyone that has taken the exam – Are there any show commands that are restricted on the exam? Hoping that they don’t lock you out of showing the running config or anything like that.
@Mike. Can you just copy and paste the questions from the vce file here? Or can you check this link? https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2imx6rougqnla2z/AAAMR_KERfE6fEJy0GYILEQYa?dl=0
and let me know if the questions from the icnd2PDF are the same ones with the vce. please man
Tre1972 just so you know and for everyone else’s info as well, ALL of those questions were on my test last week except the last one.
@done4now.. Ok. Can you tell us what you selected? And anybody who has the vce player and is studying from neb’s file, is the icnd2pdf file the same with the adjusted vce file? @mjmatos said that they are the same, but can anyone confirm that for me please? Here is the link again:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2imx6rougqnla2z/AAAMR_KERfE6fEJy0GYILEQYa?dl=0
Just see if the adjusted file has the same questions with the icnd2 pdf. Thanks
@done4now you said you studied neb’s vce file. did you change any of the answers that were in the file or you just learned it the way it was?
HI Guys !! Passed today but 860 only 🙁 ..Don’t know why.
Yes the 9tut and adjusted vice almost nails it(note: search the comments page you will get it). But there is a tail, you got to read everything in the book , at least understand it. Then you can choose correct options as Cisco keeps on changing.
Passed today,
Used the dumps shared by Greg on https://www.9tut.net/icnd2-200-105/trunking-questions/
@Nirbad which adjusted vice did you use?
Hi! I would like to pass the exam in two weeks, any advise for me?
thanks
Hi,
I wanted to know if this link was a good link to go off for the ICND 2 (200-105) test I plan on taking this week?
@hdawg
Unless you already have good knowledge on the subject, You will risk your money by studying it for only this amount of time! I recommend you buy a good course like cbtnuggets and start studying! after that use dumps only for training.
Listen,all the questions come from the pdf and vce.Also,playing around with the labs.If you are good at memorizing stuff you will pass the test for sure.But like Pl413r says,you will have a hard time remembering the commands and questions if you do not understand them.So yeah study a little
Please forgive me if this is an obvious question but what is the VCE? I am assuming it is an emulator for lab practice?? How do you use it. Thanks!!
@mno, the pdf you’re talking about is this? https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2imx6rougqnla2z/AAAMR_KERfE6fEJy0GYILEQYa?dl=0
Just want to make sure.
@mno, icnd2pdf.
Yes,almost every time people say they have had a new question,its from that pdf and they didnt read all of it.
@pl413r,
I have good knowledge on the subject. I already passed it, I’m just re-certifying. I am employed in an IT company and work with routers/switches. I already have cbt nuggets and have gns3 which I have already created self-labs by downloading IOS files and using them with vmware workstation 12. I’ve done all this
@mno. Finally someone who answers back. Thank you man. Have you taken ICND2 yet?
TY 9tut passed with 935. No drag and drop, no questions about NAT, GLBP, netflow, Syslog. For lab same topologies, you need to check devices, different questions.
My answers for more painful questions :
Statement about default QoS – ports are untrusted by default
Cisco platform for verify ACLs – APIC-EM
Which statement about DTP is true – send data on VLAN1
How can disable DTP on switch – change administrative mode to access
Two circumstances can cause collision domain issue on VLAN domain – duplex mismatch + congestion on switch inband path
Component of Cisco SDN solution – APIC
@Digi You mean different answers or different questions?
@Digi
Thank you for sharing your experience, it sure us all!
@hdawg
So you’re all set, only need to review the new subjects!
@mno
Thanks for sharing your experience, BTW is anybody updating that icnd2PDF.pdf?
The ICND2 course I am taking had 150 questions and all of them are in there!
@pl413r,
I’m reviewing pretty much everything. What are the new subjects? Is one of them Netflow?
Here my friend, directly from Mr Google
https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/blogs/community_cafe/2016/05/17/ccna-refresh
[GRE]
Any experienced mind have an explanation for this one?
After you configure a GRE tunnel between two networks, the tunnel comes up normally,
but workstations on each side of the tunnel cannot communicate.
Which reason for the problem is most likely true?
A. The tunnel source address is incorrect.
B. The route between the networks is undefined.
C. The IP MTU is incorrect.
D. The tunnel destination address is incorrect.
E. The distance configuration is missing
[Some say its C and other B]
Explanation: ?
Guys any one has packet tracer files of config in ccna or icnd1 or 2
6.1.0
For those who have paid to get a premium membership here on 9tut. Did 9tut have you guys covered for the ICND2 exam? I know the eigrp/gre/ospf labs have different answers from time to time. Is it worth paying here on 9tut?
Passed icnd2, with 9xx! Studied from:
CBTNuggets, 9tut and adjusted vce! As everyone said the sims were: OSPF, EIGRP and GRE. 9tut sims helped me a lot, cause the topology is the same but different answers, you should really know your stuff and not memorize the answers. CBTNuggets covers that up for you. As for the questions, there were no new questions on the exam, but all the problematic questions from comments appeared on the exam, I personally counted mostly on 9tut answers.
I am done here, thank you 9tut for providing such a valuable info for such a small price! Best 9$ ever spent 🙂 Good luck everyone!!!
Thanks for the info CCNADONE! I am still unsure what the adjusted VCE is? Would really appreciate any help with this. Thanks!
@SW go to page 21, there is a guy named @mjmatos who shared a link to his study material, you will find a adjusted.vce file in his dropbox link. Good luck!
I really appreciate the response @CCNADONE,I guess my question is what application is used for the VCE file? From what I gather it looks like the same questions as the PDF but it is an interactive test simulator. Does this sound correct and any advice on where to download a VCE player? Thanks again and congrats on your cert!!
Please someone has the dump updated ICND1 200-105 send me sergio_carlos22athotmail.com my exam and next week
please i need the 100-105 ICND1 if somoene has the dump please send me in sergio_carlos22 at hotmail.com my exame is on next week
Are these dumps still validate? Can I use them ?
ICND2 How cisco change question ? When i today faild, after 15days will be question same ? Or how offen change questions ?
Hello all, I cleared ICND1 today.
Simulation questions are same from DHCP sim and Security sim but there are changes in the answer and the questions are bit modified.
There were few questions from dumps available here.
Thanks..
Just passed icnd 2
No drag drop, glbp, sys log
Labs were gre/ppp/eigrp/ppp chap same topo as the gre labsim,
Questions were straight out of the vce adjusted file
Know how to configure/TS the labs
My study techniques included, CBT, a paid course (waste of time), 9tut and the vce adjusted file
The vce file is in these comments somewhere
Good luck
What VCE player did you use for the vce adjusted file @Dumps4dayz? Having trouble finding one. Thanks!!
Also is the adjusted VCE content the same as the PDF file? In other words, would I miss any information by just using the PDF file and not the adjusted VCE? Thanks!
Taking the ICND2 in two weeks. Are any of the answers provided on the composite quizzes incorrect?
@SW
Use the android one!
@Nobody
Please let us know how it goes, as I will take mine soon and will do the same1
@Pl413r just got it working on my mac with bluestacks. It says demo version so not sure how long I will be able to use it. Thanks!
Hey Yall,
Just checking in hope everyone is doing well in their studies! good luck and please let me know if you need anything else!
@SW the PDF file is just that, a PDF of the VCE for people who cannot get the actual VCE player to work so either is good
Just passed ICND 02, 9Tut has proved invaluable to me along with a few other methods.
– I had access to the PDF e-book (used sparingly for topics that needed to be read – STP RSTP PVST+)
– I also used a website called Cybrary which has a free CCNA syllabus with labs and videos (no I do not work for them – you will need packet tracer)
– I used a self rating system on all the composite quizzes here and then went to the individual quizzes to hone certain areas
– I had some access to a vice which if I had sooner would of used ALOT more
I had one HSRP question, no NAT, one IPv6, all SIMS (almost identical focus on what show commands give what info), no drag an drop (I did practice these a lot though), a lot of STP and bridge/root type info questions, and a few WAN questions.
I recommend knowing the finer details of a lot of the content and not just a general understanding, I suppose this kinda builds on INCD 01.
good luck and good ciscoing!!!
*VCE not VICE
Hey guys, just passed my ICND2 with a 95X.
I had no drag and drop, GLBP, VRRP, Netflow, NAT or Syslog.
SIMs were, GRE/MLPPP, EIGRP and OSPF. Same topology as the ones on this site and very similar Q’s. Super simple SIM questions as all you really need is “sh run” or “sh ip ospf int” to find Hello and Dead timer mismatch or “sh ip prot” to find K-values in EIGRP. The rest of the answers you can discard because it was basically “Is Tunnel0 shutdown?”.
I used the Official book to study and did one chapter a day leading into the exam, I also did the official ICND2 course and it helped but wouldn’t waste my money on it.
Finally I used the Adjusted.vce file but the PDF version (Called “icnd2PDF.pdf”, you can find this on page 21 under a dropbox link that “mjmatos” posted) its the same Q’s you just don’t need the vce player. 98% of my Q’s came from this file so do it a few times and you’l be fine!
Don’t worry about any Q’s anywhere else just do this doco.
Good luck
practice questions on http://www.ciscovce.com
Hi Klaas Veen
Could you please put in google drive the rest of the questions?
@Klaas Veen, PL 200-105 are these all the questions or do I still need to subscribe? tnx!
Anyone know what this question is?
“HDLC IP address”
HDLC is not in the blueprint
which value is used to determine the active router in a HSRP default configuration?
A. Router loopback addredd
B Router IP address
C. Router priority
D. Router tracking number
Which statement about QoS default behavior is true?A. Ports are untrusted by default.B.VoIP traffic is passed without being tagged.C.Video traffic is passed with a well-known DSCP value of 46.D. Packets are classified internally with an environment.E. Packets that arrive with a tag are untagged at the edge of an administrative domain.
Can anyone provide the correct answer ?
Thanks
@Alceo
Yes it is…under serial links protocols.
@ccentak The answer to your question is “A. Ports are untrusted by default”
This excerpt is straight from Cisco
Note: By default, all ports are in the untrusted state when QoS is enabled. In order to enable QoS on the Catalyst 6500 that runs Cisco IOS Software, issue the mls qos command in the main configuration mode.
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/switches/catalyst-6000-series-switches/24055-173.html
@AnhLT
The question is tricky
HSRP uses:
1- Router Priority
2- if Priority is equal then Ip address (among the interfaces partecipating in HSRP)
the question says “in a default configuration” so I’d go with Ip Address
Hi, does anyone have recent dumps for 200-105?
Can anyone tell me if the show run command is available to use during the labs?
I think am giving up on the VCE player! Finally got A+ player loaded using bluestacks, loaded the VCE file thought I was good to go. However I just realized the A+ player is only a demo. I am only able to view a few questions before it requires $. I think I will stick with the PDF.
@Panglosyou have to use “show running-config”
@SW
Or you can just make a simple .pdf file and study from there like I did.
Thanks for the reply Pl413r , but I just wanted to confirm whether or not the command itself was locked down in the exam labs , not whether the abbreviation , apologies for confusion.
Passed very comfortably to extend my CCNA for the second time (Voice last time).
Got GRE, EIGRP, OSFP, no drag and drops.
Please don’t rely on the dumps or SIMS completely, don’t memorize the questions/answers on them. Learn and know the ICND2 material first, and use dumps and SIMS as study tools to self assess and focus in on subject matter. Know why that answer is right or wrong, know how to troubleshoot that issue, know how that protocol works. Otherwise, even if your lucky enough to pass, you won’t really know crap.
Don’t devalue the certifications by just memorizing what you need for the test, because trust me when you go to get a job and you can’t back that cert up, those who have been in the industry and worked hard for their position will send you to the curb, and word travels quick.
@Pangloss
No problem bro,
That command is usually not locked on test labs (but command used to change configuration are locked). If you ever need to use a command that you are not sure it is accepted just enter it on there and it should say “invalid command” on something similar!
