I think some are saying the icnd2pdf.pdf is the only paper to study? along with some lab sims.

Passed finally. Studied a book & CBT first. Used icnd2.pdf and 9t questions. Good to use both to check for conflicting answers. Practiced labs every day for a week or so from 9t (GRE, EIGRP, & OSPF). Got lucky all questions were from icnd2pdf. icnd2.pdf is same as PL 402 and 9t. Went with 11/5 Johnny’s choices on questions after research.

Does anyone know if Frame Relay covers icnd2 exam?

I have the test today will report back with my results. Sake, I don’t think so based off others comments.

If I take may ICND2 Version 3 this year or until before April next year,
will I still be able to get my CCNA Cert if I pass? or do I have to retake ICND1 Version 3 first?

The CCENT Certification will be valid for exactly 3 years from the date you become certified.

If you take and pass the ICND2 exam by or before your CCENT Certification expiration date, you will become certified in CCNA R&S AND your CCENT Certification will be recertified for 3 years, starting from the date when you passed the ICND2 exam.

Both your CCENT and CCNA R&S Certification will have the same expiration date.

Okay, I passed with 8xx/811 – the sims were the same with different answers, as explained on here, KNOW HOW TO VERIFY! I had a hand full of questions I didn’t see on here. Good luck!

I guess there are conflicts with the answers on 9tut and ICND2.pdf and lab sims are only available on 9tut.

What show commands are needed for sims? Taking exam tomorrow

I used 9tut questions and only 9tut questions. Same show commands that they used, you just need to look for different stuff. Pretty much the same answers, but on different routers. You can get the info you need with show run, show ip ospf/eigrp, show ip int br, sho ip route, etc. for all of the sims, I believe. Don’t take that as gospel though and study up. If you’ve been in the industry for awhile it was actually pretty easy.

I might add that in the sims it’s important if you are unsure of what the answer is, to try to prove that it couldn’t be the other 3 answers using show commands. I guess the same could kind of be said for other multiple choice questions, you just don’t have the show commands to prove one way or the other.

Passed exam today, all questions were from ICND2.pdf. Sims I had were GRE/PPP, OSPF, EIGRP… really only need the show run commmand on sims to find answers, show ip ospf/eigrp for hello & dead timers, show ip protocol for K values.

@Wtf did you have any new questions or were they all from ICND2.pdf? Also did you get any drag and drop questions?

Passed ICND2 exam 930/1000!!

All questions are from ICND2.pdf – only got one different question which is to determine the designated router.

Got EIGRP, OSPF and GRE, just study how config differs on the routers ex. hello interval, K values, router ID and others using show commands.

All in all 98% of the multiple questions are on ICND2.pdf

No new questions. No drag and drop, net flow, vrrp or glbp questions.

@Wtf is correct, just study ICND2.pdf and you will have 80% of the exam covered. Just study for the sim labs and hope the pool of questions don’t change when you take the exam. 🙂

I cleared my ICND-2 exam today. Thanks to 9tut. Most of the questions are from 9tut. EIGRP , OSPF, PPP simulation questions similar to 9tut. But need to be strong in the concepts before taking the exam. No Drag and Drop or configuration questions.Good Luck!!

I passed my ICND2 with 87* , I’m so happy, please don’t be scared al question are from icnd2 pdf here in 9tut, i got three labs, GRE, EIGRP,OSPF same topology but it’s different issue, don’t panic if you focus and read the question very good you will find the answer.

I swear al question are same icnd2pdf ang i got 87* maybe because they still have wrong questions on that document? so if you have time search more or do same answers and you will still pass.

hey guys i passed ICND 2 today with 877/1000. I would say that 70% of the questions were in the ICND2.pdf and the sims are the same topology but the questions have been changed around so make sure you know what you’re doing. There was maybe 5-7 new questions but they were pretty easy like what does a bridge use to elect a root bridge in STP? and the answers were like BPDU, packet, segment etc. Easy exam if you did your study.

@Anonymous: Cisco is still adding a few new questions each time so currently there is no 100% valid dump.

Just Passed!… I used icnd.pdf, cbt nuggets. But be prepared on some new questions, I think I had 4-5 unfamiliar questions. Arp something is the one.. for Lab is same here in 9tut (OSPF, EIGRP, GRE) but different questions.. 4 each sims.. make sure you understand how your networking very well. Goodluck guys!

i have quesetion for exam if we dont give cmd show running-config in sim of ospf and eigrp and Gre just give the answer istead of give cmd show running-config , the answer which given is correct !!!
even correct answer does it effect on exam or effect on points ??
show running-config cmd show ip interface brief must use in exam ??or cisco just dont accpet answer and give no points for it ???

Just passed ICND2 and my only advise is: don’t count only on dumps! Make sure that you really understand the sims (OSPF/EIGRP/WAN troubleshooting) and try to remember the most important aspects of STP/RSTP/HSRP/EIGRP/OSPF…
The bits of not-so important stuff (SDN, PPPoE, SNMP etc) you can take it as it is from 9tut and you will pass for sure.

Yes, there is a premium zone with actual sims… routers you can type show commands in, questions with feedback after you complete them, etc.

int the B answer the command for network should be:
network 192.168.1.0 0.0.0.255 area0
because the ospf process doesn’t support subnet mask only wildcard mask

I passed my exam today with 9xx. The ICND2PDF.pdf and the corresponding VCE are still pretty valid. Just remember a couple things like DTP isn’t native VLAN, it’s VLAN 1. Also, there was a question in the EIGRP SIM about how to identify if a port was in passive or active mode. That’s why you need to know what your show commands are 😉

Second, I wanted to say that with only 9tut Premium you will be OK.
I got 3 labs, GRE/EIGRP/OSPF same as in here, different questions (of course).

Not all questions are on this site covered, but you will have like 90%. Study hard and good luck.
