Share your ICND2 v3.0 Experience
The new ICND2 200-105 exam has come to replace the old ICND2 200-101 exam. We create the “Share your ICND2 v3.0 Experience” for everyone to share their experience after taking this exam.
Note for ICND2: There are no VRRP, GLBP, NetFlow and NAT questions (and they are not technologies learned in this exam).
Please share with us your experience after taking the ICND2 200-105 exam, your materials, the way you learned, your recommendations… But please DO NOT share any information about the detail of the exam or your personal information, your score, exam date and location, your email…

thats a sim on gre/ppp. i had eigrp only
I agree with skyslimit,
We need to ban these idiots who keep posting shit like they passed their exam with 9xx/1000.
THEY ARE ALL FAKE!!! Dont trust them!!!!
@Mark3,
is that question on the new exam?
@ mark3
can you remember a few of the gre qs?
thanx bro.
@ slim
If your reading …..can you remember a few of the gre qs?
Can anyone confirm me who gave ICND2 recently, are the questions same as in 9tut icnd2 section or different? if yes could anyone remember the new question?
@skyslimit
One of the GRE tunnel questions asked what would cause GRE tunnel up/down status. The second GRE question was to choose three answers that would verify GRE tunnel connectivity. However, it was for an IPSEC GRE tunnel. So, all of the answers were variations of the show crypto command. The drag and drop you previously mentioned is what I had.
For those that pass the icnd2 exam, are there any guestions about NAT, syslog since it’s not the blueprint?thx
@gsp
I did not have any nat or syslog questions on my exam.
Thx Slim and congrats!
which about gre tunnel is true?
send in md5 ?
sends in plain text ?
something
something
from exam
sends in plain text bro
Has the site been updated with new questions ?
Thanks Stefano.
passleader 51-100 got that ospf picture with 4 questions i had on the exam
HI MARK3 .HOW ABOUT EIGRP ?
different answers
from what i remember
10.5.5.55 was not advertised
k values mismatch
ok thanks
Hey guys
i know this is not the best place but i need help to find something on cisco 500-551 exam
I cant find any resource any help would not just be great it would be amazing.
Hi Der,
Could you let me know what questions were about? Did you get most of the questions form pdf’s or totally different questions?
Thanks
@Denis, do not trust him!
Do not trust “DER” he’s fake!!!
does anyone know when a new version will be available for the new test?
@Denis , the posting fro der is a scam , it will only steal you money do not fall for it
This one (skyslimit) is scam also !!!!
this skyslimit is A SCAM. HE TOOK ANOTHER NAME. DONT LISTEN!!!! ITS A SCAM!!!
next thing you know he will take my name. JUST FYI, IF YOU SEE MY NAME SAYING THAT I, SUPPOSEDLY PASSED THE EXAM WITH 9XX/1000, DONT LISTEN, its a fake because I haven’t even taken the exam
Can someone who took exam can share the questions he had?
All I only had 2 Sims. Eigrp and ospf. Eigrp is same as what’s in 9tut pdf same qs different answers. Ospf Is these links exactly the same.
http://vceguide.com/how-many-networks-will-be-in-the-routing-table-of-r1-that-are-indicated-to-be-learned-by-ospf-4/
http://vceguide.com/after-the-network-has-converged-what-type-of-messaging-if-any-occurs-between-r3-and-r4/

http://vceguide.com/which-address-will-the-ospf-process-select-as-the-router-id-5/
Hi ,
Is chinese dump is valid ?
I think the pdf from 9tut is not valid because is for CCNA and not for ICND02 exam
@9tut is there any update about the new questions ?
Red rum do you have a link to the 9tut. Pdf
Is the CCNAX the same as ICND2 200-105 exam?
@Redrum
Thanks for sharing!
And what about the questions in comparison with the information in icnd2.pdf?
from where can i download the icnd2.pdf ?
ignore ZAN, its fake, don’t click on that link!!!
@9tut,
any updates? my test is approaching. anything would be greatly appreciated.
@hdawg
you are the last hope of this thread :)))
Hi all,
I can give you update on the exam.
2 Sims.
One is EIGRP same topology with different questions than 9tut. Look for: passive inerface ,shutdown loopback adapter, unequal load balance with variance command under EIGRP process, summarized route with auto-summary command.
Other is OSPF that Redrum posted, with exactly the same questions/answers.

About 30% questions from 9tut.net/icnd2.pdf. Other questions was new. You have to answer all questions from 9tut and sims without a mistake. And maybe about 10 questions from the new one, you will pass.
Some of the new questions:
What protocol CGMP is NOT compatible with?
answer: HSRP v1
which about gre tunnel is true?
answer: sends in plain text
Wich algorithm routing protocols are using.
answer:Dijkstra -> ospf
answer:Bellman-Ford -> RIP
Question about commands to configure pppoe server:
pppoe enable
pppoe-client dial-pool-number 1
How to remove vlan from trunk:
switchport trunk allowed vlan remove
Command to configure IPv6 peer for BGP
neighbor xxxx remote-as xxxx
2 sims.
EIGRP sim with different questions than 9tut. Look for: passive interface, shutdown loopback, summary route, unequal load balance witch variance commad under eigrp process
OSPF exactly like hotspot in 9tut.
30% ot questions from 9tut.net, so consider to pay fee. If you answer sims and 9tut questions correctly, will need about 10 of the new questions to pass.
@ss
thanks for sharing, man!
good luck

Hey guys
i know this is not the best place but i need help to find something on cisco 500-551 exam
I cant find any resource any help would not just be great it would be amazing..
Passed on Monday with 9xx/1000. The min. score is 811, not 800.
Many questions from icnd2pdf. But you really need to understand the matter.
EIGRP and OSPF like @ss above.
Yes, you can use abbreviated commands and “show run” for EIGRP.
No drag&drop.
And don’t worry. There is plenty of time to finish the exam.
Some detailed questions about TACACS+ and ACE (APIC-EM Path Trace)
Responses from the TACACS+ daemon?
ACCEPT, REJECT, ERROR, CONTINUE are correct
ACE can’t remember the question.
A very strange question:
“When does your enterprise require highspeed broadband internet?
p2p file sharing
IaaS
cloud computing
vSAN expansion
upgrade IOS
resource-intensive application”
…something more
Just guessed something, no idea.
Well done Peter do you have the icnd2 pdf please?
@anon
just check previous pages (lets say from page 20 and later) – there should be the links to pdf
@peter thank you man!
Billy the pdf on page 20 is June 2017 will it still be valid?
@Router
it was 100% valid till January, now the test has been updated, but there are still lots of questions from this pdf (probably around 30 percent)
@Billy, is the pdf with 218 questions?
@Router
yes
the last question (218) is about HSRP states
@Billy thank you very much I am going to study this pdf too
@Router
not at all, good luck
Just got out of the exam, very tough compared to previous times I have sat this. Recent comments about the change are correct in that studying just this will not set you up for the exam. I had a drag and drop, and the 2 sims. I would of guessed about 30% of the questions appear exact as they do on here, 20% questions are slightly reworded or have been broken down to multiple answers, and the rest of the questions (ignoring sims and DnD) are just totally new.
Topics that wasn’t covered in depth on here ranged from QoS policing, Packet inspection, Switching stacking (wasn’t the same as on here)
Quite a few Cisco trick questions that really make you question even your basic understanding, like what command tells you the default VLAN. Another stupid one I got was host A and B are connected to the same switch but unable to communicate, choose the most probable answer. All answers were “probable” in my eyes but really depends what idiot configured it.
Anyways good luck to those taking it, and really don’t rely on just 9tut or any pdf to get you there.
Hello guys, just passed the exam today on my first try. The 9tut question base is still valid if you want to grasp the concept, although lots of new questions so you need understanding of topic as well, don’t learn answers by heart.
Best of luck to all of you.
I read on here that one person who took the exam had drag-n-drop and another person who to the exam didn’t have drag-n-drop. So which is true? Are there drag-n-drops or not??
Just passed today with 8xx, the minimum is 811. Plenty of new questions, 9tut sill good as a brain dump but there are just the 20% of questions from it at my advise.
Plenty of ppp and and ppoe commands tricky questions, full of QoS concepts, Switch stacking tricky question never ever seen before, port fast, Spanning Tree PortFast BPDU Guard Enhancement,
Which protocol HRSP interchange: ppp, ppoe, bpdu, hello, xxx. Right one is hello.
which tipe of messages HRSP interchange: akn,sys, xxx, xxx;
BGP configuration
Drag and drop, OSPF lab from 9tut, EIGRP lab from 9tut
I have studied on CCNA Routing and Switching ICND2 Official Cert Guide, CBT nuggets to fix the concepts, youtube ccna with Vambar and so on.
Take your time, do labs, its still possible to pass
Good luck
for all the people who passed the exam, can you let us know what part of the LAN switching technologies questions were asked(whatever you can remember) and what questions from the Routing tech. where asked.
The reason is because those to subjects cover 55% of the test in itself. I, honestly, don’t want to spend a couple hours on question that are on the 14% or 15% of the test. From the cisco website here are the percentages that will be on the test.
LAN Switching Tech. – 26%
Routing Tech. – 29%
WAN tech. – 16%
Infrastructure Services – 14%
Infrastructure maintenance – 15%
Dont’ get me wrong, every question counts, but I rather spend more time on the larger percentages rather than the lower percentages.
Thanks
@Zimon
What was the stacking and qos questions?
In the LAB, do we need to configure or only troubleshoot with some show commands?thx
@gsp
no configuration is needed, just show commands
in reality the only command you need during the exam is the “show run” command
@Billy The Dump,
thank you so much, i am now more relax for the preparation.
@gsp
not at all, good luck man
@icnd2. Can u share the questions u had ?
@ICND2,
where do we find the OSPF sim and EIGRP sim? Is it on the icnd2PDF?
@Hdawg no, it is here :
https://www.9tut.net/category/icnd2/icnd2-labsim
but you need premium membership to have a full access to the questions/answers.
To the people asking to share the questions we had, realise that there is 50 odd questions and like many are saying most are new. So the likelihood of people coming out and remembering is very low.
We have been helpful enough to point you in directions of what to expect, but its a pool of questions so could not even get ours. Research and learn. In my honest opinion, taking this made me realise the Cisco qualifications will become much more sought after as they have done a fine job of cracking down on mock tests.
@NBD you are right but it would be cool if you can remember some , even is this is not accurate
@ billy the dump,
thanks, I used GNS3 to practice on the OSPF neighbor sim. I pretty familiar with that one
@ Chi Kit thanks for sending the new dump pdf of PL 200-105 but it is dated June 2016,, please advise …. thanks
Who has proof scheduled for the next month?
Is it worth buying 9tut premium access?
Has anyone had success with the premium account on the test?
I’m realizing that there have been a lot of changes in the test, which is making me worried. I do not find updated material anywhere.
Premium gives you sims to practice the actual lab to enter show and other commands like on exam.
you can also use GNS3 with vmware workstation( to simulate the labs on here. Thats what i;ve been doing
Any port security questions as they are not listed as a topic for icnd2 but appear on the pdf?
Here is a question that was on my exam that I just took last week, try to post more when I can.
What is the default read-only (RO) mode of SNMP community string?
A. Public
B. Private
C. Cisco
D. Secret
Answer: A
Explanation: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/ip/simple-network-management-protocol-snmp/7282-12.html
What is the output of the command, show snmp engineID?
Answer: Local SNMP engineID and the remote engineID
Explanation: Displays the identification of the local SNMP engine and all remote engines that have been configured on the router.
Hey Guys there are 5 labs in the exams, Eigrp Tshoot, Riv2 Tshoot, GRE Tunneling Tshoot, DHCP Tshoot and there is a Inter-vlan Lab with access ports, switching, 802.1q and native vlan mismatch error. You need to study Ipv6, Ipv4, switching topics, routing topics, subnetting good basic knowlege and my main recommendation is to practice labs a lot. I passed today with a good score, I will keep on working hard and getting certifications. Finally take 1 to 2 minutes per question and 8 to 12 minutes per lab as maximum; that would be my best advise to your guys!!!! Good look on getting the CCNA certification!!!!
In addition study simulations and labs as much as possible. Eirgp, Rip v2, GRE, DHCP Tshoot and ACL,Inter-vlan routing lab with a native vlan mismatch error are the simulations you need to practice as much as possible. The ACL laboratory is the same than 9tut labs only with different ip addresses.
taking mine next week!
@ccna Joday Master,
how much ipv6 question do you remember that are on the test? Are there alot or just a few? And are they referencing EIGRP/OSPF?
For ipv6 questions there is a few of everything the 2 ACL Scenario exams and ACL simlet with questions from 9tut were in the exam@ I got a lot DnD questions, switching amd routing questions…know all the show commands by heart good luck @hdawg
@CNA Master Key
thanks for the info. Was the DnD about switching and routing? I heard they were about split horizon, posion reverse, etc.
@CCNA Keymaster, don’t understand what he is talking about. There are only 2 labs IF you passing ICND2 exam(200-105). Ofcourse if you passing CCNA exam(200-125) there maybe 5 labs(because it’s ICND1+ICND2 exam). But here we talking about ONLY ICND2 exam. People here who passed exam talk about only OSPF and EIGRP sim, because RIPv2 was in ICND1. So what are you talking about then?
@Skvok you’re right in ICND2 DO NOT HAVE THESE LABS, no more than 2 labs
@Skvok that is correct CCNA exam(200-125) there maybe 6 labs 2 of configuration and 4 related to troubleshooting. OSPF and EIGRP sim might be in the second exam, ICND2 exam(200-105)
Please visit the cisco website to confirm the exam topics:
https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/community/certifications/ccna/icnd2/exam-topics
@ CCNA Keymaster,
That is what I’m going by. I think there aren’t 6 labs in CCNA 200-105. Your right in that there are probably 6 labs if your taking the 200-125 version, but this site is only for ICND 2. I already passed ICND 1. I’m taking the two part test instead of taking the whole exam in one. So with that being said, are there only 2-3 labs for ICND 2 (200-105)?
Are there any frame relay questions ?
Hi Everyone,
Passed the exam with 900 today. I hate to say this, but this exam is not easy at all. There were about 15% to 20% of questions from 9tut, I was using cross elimination to answer almost all the remaining question. At one point, I was ready to give up. I think I lucked out by getting all the simulation questions right. The simulation turned out to be super easy.
There were two simulation questions:
http://vceguide.com/after-the-network-has-converged-what-type-of-messaging-if-any-occurs-between-r3-and-r4/
Lucky this was the first one and it’s exactly the same.
The 2nd one was the EIGRP question. Exact same diagram, but different answer. In short, just look for the following mistake: passive interface, auto summary, unequal load balancing, and missing network statement.
For unequal load balancing, pay attention to the metric value. They made it really obvious, you can find the mistake easily.
I will be positing more questions that I remember for tomorrow….
DONT LISTEN TO JENY, ITS A FAKE!!!!!!
@Goldenstein,
when you say there are 15 -20% of question from 9tut, are you talking about the icnd2PDF file?
@Hdawg
Hey man. So, are you going to take your exam on Friday?
@Billy The Dump,
Ya man, unless a miracle happens and 9tut comes out with a pdf for the new exam in 1 day. I’m staying up late just reviewing the icnd2pdf and doing some labs using gns3. what about you?
@Hdawg
Almost same story here, printed the exam topics list:
https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/community/certifications/ccna/icnd2/exam-topics
and reading study materials. There are some topics like QoS/TACACS/APIC-EM that I am not familiar with, so I pay more attention on them.
Also reviewing icnd2.pdf questions and December pdf file from 9tut -> if my answer is incorrect -> then I read the according topic. I have a huge experience with Packet Tracer labs, so, I hope EIGRP/OSPF exam simulation will be easy for me to solve.
And of course, I keep checking this thread to find new information about questions and reports.
I still haven’t scheduled my exam, but I’m going to take it on the 9th or 12th of February. I have to go in different town for it.
Hope, we will be fine man.
Good luck!
@Billy The Dump,
I’ve been looking at the exam topics from that link as well. I’ve been focusing more on the 26% and 29% since that will be a huge part of the exam. I’m also no that familiar with QoS and APIC-EM, but those two subjects are part of the 14% and 15% so I’m not too worried over it. I’ll skim through it and pray that there aren’t alot of questions on it. As far as the test questions from icnd2 and december pdf, I’ve been doing about 20-30 questions per day and if I got more than 2 question wrong per 10 questions, I would redo it the next day until I got a 90 or 100%. I also have experience with packet tracer, but it only gives you a selected amount of commands, some of which are needed for some topics on here. So my go to emulator is GNS3. You should try it, there are ios files out on the internet, you just have to look(i could also send you a link) and install vmware workstation or virtualbox and create about 4 vm’s and use that as your lab. I did that and recreated some of the labs on here. it gave me a better understanding of the commands.To be honest, I”m kinda tired of studying, I’ve been doing it for the past couple months(on and off due to my personal life and such) and I just wanna get it over with and move on to ccna security.If, god forbid, I don’t pass it, I’ll wait a couple months and get enough cash to retake it, hopefully by then there will be a pdf for the new exam. Good luck to you as well man!!!
hy simran i will recommend you Pass4surekey for 400-101 dumps because i also clear my exam with the help of pass4surekey. you get from pass4surekey.com
Thank You Big Den i must try
@Goldenstein
Thanks for sharing, man!
anyone know if 9tut will come out with the latest dumps in the next couple hours, lol!!
@Hdawg doubt it hahaha. let us know how it goes
@TopKekLord,
I take the exam on friday, but I have until thursday morning to change the date or else I’m locked in for good. If by a miracle they come out with some dumps by the end of the day today or early tomorrow, then I’ll change the date of my exam. If not, then I guess I’m set for Friday
I sat the 200-105 exam last week – by some miracle I passed it. Almost all of the questions had me shaking my head – the way they were worded, and the possible answers (several questions had answers that COULD have been correct) – very confusing. Maybe it’s Cisco’s way of keeping the cert valuable by switching it up. I remember being 20 questions in and knowing that I missed 15 of them. My test had a lot of IPv6 – at least 5 questions.
It’s my second time recertifying in ccna routing and switching and I think it’s time to move on to security or a vendor neutral cert. Advice on this test? If you don’t know the answer, just try to reason the choices as best you can. You will get questions that come out of left field.
