Share your ICND2 v3.0 Experience
The new ICND2 200-105 exam has come to replace the old ICND2 200-101 exam. We create the “Share your ICND2 v3.0 Experience” for everyone to share their experience after taking this exam.
Note for ICND2: There are no VRRP, GLBP, NetFlow and NAT questions (and they are not technologies learned in this exam).
Please share with us your experience after taking the ICND2 200-105 exam, your materials, the way you learned, your recommendations… But please DO NOT share any information about the detail of the exam or your personal information, your score, exam date and location, your email…
@speedy_3 Ok thanks. Si if I understand well you got other question from gareth and speedy?
Here very much questions.. IS it CCNA ? or ICND 2 ??? tell me please… because I go to ICnd 1 exam/
Who have last valid questions on January and February questions?? send mee pleasee new valid questions ICND 1 ultel93 (@) gmail com
@Nixie – to be honest this is what happened . After passing icnd1 in July last year ,I started the icnd2 study in September. i finished in the middle of January .Then I went to look at other sites like measure-up ,Boson got the practice.Then I went for the test last week. When I came back I was wondering who in the world has the latest q& A . I remembered this site,last time i used this site was way back in 2010 when i was doing MCSA. Then i came to this section-surprise ,surprise there is Gareth ,there is Speedy -they have the material i saw in the test.Then i contributed about what i could remember,.So guys who are still going to write are lucky-cos they have this material-as for me and gareth ,and the like .Eish it was like torture. Let me explain . Before you have your test -Cisco stated that there are BETA questions which do not count towards your score .Then I started 1st question-it killed me ,i thought maybe this is beta,Q2 same q 12 ?? Ey I was scared ,I am going to fail. The relief came when I saw the Simlet cos I had practiced well in the Tod Lammle’s lab questions. Then back to the torture. To be simple how I passed….its god’d grace .I said to myself let me do what i know maybe,just maybe I will pass and it happened.
@Speedy_3 Thanks for the information. Of course it must be stressful to discover those news auestions during the test.
Can you give us the questions u had from your exam which are the same that those posted by gareth above ?
Can you remember the other questions?
What about this guys :
SPAN local questions :
doubles traffic in the switch ?
/doubles load on the supervisor engine ?
From cisco :
To avoid disrupting traffic, do not oversubscribe any of these points in your SPAN topology. Some
oversubscription and performance considerations are:
• SPAN doubles traffic internally
• SPAN adds to the traffic being processed by the switch fabric
• SPAN doubles forwarding engine load
If someone who took the exam can validate that the question posted by speedy are valid it would be great
Q55 isn’t it that the modes for PagP are only: Desirable and Auto? The Mode ON command only enables EtherChannel explicitl, thereby the answer should only be Desirable and Auto.
@Hdawg Hey man! If you are still here reviewing this thread, what are you going to do next, moving to CCNA Security? If so, how are you going to prepare?
I feel like I need keep going forward with my studies, and CCNA is just the starting point.
If someone who took the exam can validate that the question posted by speedy are valid it would be great
@Nixie Hey, have you got any more questions in addition to speedys? I saw people mention that you have some good questions, but I couldn’t find them. Thanks.
@jp I have the same questions as Speedy(page 36) , if someone could confirm that they are correct it would be cool
Are there any frame relay questions?
@Speedy_3 Can you tell us which questions u had from gareth and speedy list
Hi guys,
do you know if there is a website similar to 9tut for CCNA CyberOps exams?
Which cloud service is typically used to provide DNS and DHCP services to an enterprise?
A. IaaS
B. DaaS
C. SaaS
D. PaaS
Apparently answer is A and not C
http://searchcloudsecurity.techtarget.com/tip/DNS-attacks-Compromising-DNS-in-the-cloud
Hello, can someone who took the exam this week share the question he had ?
Hey guys, I recently took the exam. I would say about 20 or 30 out of the 50+ questions were on speedy list. Here are some differences.
The question that states what requires high speed internet, is a three choice question.
When does your enterprise require high-speed broadband internet? (Choose 3)
A. P2P file sharing
B. Cloud computing
C. IaaS
D. SAN expansion
E. upgrade IOS
F. resource-intensive application
From the questions not on the list that I remember are
1. Question about multiple tunnels causing saturation, what command to fix it?
A. Bandwidth
B. Cost
Something something
After doing some research, the answer seems to be bandwidth. https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios/12_4/interface/configuration/guide/inb_tun.html
2. Question about ACE ACLs (choose 3)
A. Delay 100
B. Delay 300
C. Something
D. Something
E. Something
F. Something
I don’t remember much else. I passed. I think what I recommend people do is learn the concepts. Even if you don’t know a question you can figure out the wrong answers by knowing the gist
@Daddy thanks for sharing this
Did you got drag and drop? What sims do you got?
Do you got question about qos/snmp?
@DaddyBlack What did you answer to those questions ?
Can you remember the other questions?
@Nixie
No drag and drop. Sims are exactly the ones that are here in 9tut except, in the eigrp sim, the answers changed. I remember the answer to one was that the interface was in passive mode.
I did get a QOS question. But I think it was about QOS ACL. The answers were along the lines of
A. You can ONLY apply ACL on an outgoing interface
B. You can apply ACL on Outgoing and Incoming interfaces
C. Something
D. Something
@alpha
The answer to the ACE ACLS i’m sure I completely botched it. But the answers were value based, and out of the six choices, you basically had “high” and “low”. I can’t even remember the answers to be honest.
As far as other questions I remembered, there was this ACL question that I got. It showed a picture of an ACL along the lines of
Router#show ip access-lists 100
Extended IP access list 100
10 deny tcp any any time-range nonworkhours (active)
20 permit tcp any any time-range workhours (inactive)
Q. So and so can’t connect to the internet. Why can’t they connect?
A. Implicit Deny All at the end of access list
B. Misconfigured ACL
C. nonworkshours is active
D. workhours is inactive
I’m not sure about C and D, but it had something to do with the active and inactive status of the ACL statement.
That’s all I can remember. Please, donate some bitcoin to me.
@Gareth
You might be right. Here’s cisco documentation on setting up an IaaS with Cisco. https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/UCS_CVDs/ucs_vspex_iaas_ucsd_50.pdf
It shows DHCP and DNS as services under this IaaS.
B. You can apply ACL on Outgoing and Incoming interfaces
C. Something
D. Something
@alpha

I messed up the anonymous post. repost
@Gareth
I agree with you , the answer for DHCP & DNS should be IaaS , I will update that in my questions
Router#show ip access-lists 100
Extended IP access list 100
10 deny tcp any any time-range nonworkhours (active)
20 permit tcp any any time-range workhours (inactive)
A. Implicit Deny All at the end of access list
B. Misconfigured ACL
C. nonworkshours is active
D. workhours is inactive
Correct me if I am wrong but the way I understand it, the answer should be A ?
There is an explicit deny at the end of every ACL, so you would need to type permit ip any any or else only tcp would work in this example ?
@Circulator Yeah answer is A
LOL, the nick name stealers are funny…
@ Billy The Dump
I just took and passed CCNA security using securitytut.com. Its free and a sister website to this, when you get to the site go back to page 148 and start reading, alot of questions are posted in the comments. Plus you will finds links to the rest of the questions needed.
Does anyone have the exam coming up soon?
@stickerbush1970 thank you!
thinking about buying a new PC at the moment for labbing in GNS3
When does your enterprise require high-speed broadband internet? (Choose 3)
A. P2P file sharing
B. Cloud computing
C. IaaS
D. SAN expansion
E. upgrade IOS
F. resource-intensive application
A,B, F then?
Hum I would have say A B C ?
P2P file sharing is not enterprise requirement
I think the answer should be B,C,D
Did someone took the exam this week and can share information?
would like to know this also @alpha
Hi,
Can someone please share the link to download the dump?Thanks
Please someone give updates about the exam
A buddy of mine took the CCNA Composite yesterday and even though it isn’t the same as ICND2 I still had him look over speedy’s list of questions. He told me he was fried and probably wouldn’t be much help, but he did it anyway. We didn’t get into which specific questions but he told me he recognized several of the questions on the list.
Here are some rough renditions of the questions he remembered (kinda). Bare with me.
These are typed exactly as he sent them to me.
1. Which statement about IPv6 addresses are true? something about them being advertised globally across a network
2. The router can’t find a route in the routing table. tries to send it to the gateway of last resort.
3. What two something about aggregated chassis technology?
4. What protocol used first-hand information from device peers?
a. link-state
5. Two features of extended ping
6. How do you troubleshoot DNS? (2 or 3 answers)
That’s what little I can contribute. Wish it could be more but that’s all I got.
Which two options are features of the extended ping command? (Choose two.)
A. It can send a specific number of packet
B. It can send packet from specified interface of IP address
C. It can resolve the destination host name
D. It can ping multiple host at the same time
E. it can count the number of hops to the remote host.
Correct Answer: AB
Which statement about IPv6 link-local addresses is true ?
A. They must be configured on all IPv6 interface
B. They must be globally unique
C. They must be manually configured
D. They are advertised globally on the network
Correct Answer: A
When troubleshooting client DNS issues, which two task must you perform? (Choose two)
A. Ping a public website IP address.
B. Ping the DNS Server.
C. Determine whether a DHCP address has been assigned.
D. Determine whether the hardware address is correct.
E. Determine whether the name servers have been configured
Correct Answer: BE
Which two options describe benefits of aggregated chassis technology? (Choose two.) A. It requires only three IP addresses per VLAN.
B. It supports HSRP, VRRP, and GLBP.
C. It requires only one IP address per VLAN.
D. It reduces management overhead.
eIt supports redundant configuration files.
F. Switches can be located anywhere regardless of their physical distance from one anot her.
Correct Answer: CD
Those @jqboii?
@beqnut
These questions are from 200-125 exam , right ?
yup
@Jaboii 1,2 and 6 was on my ICND1
Hi Guys,
I have my exam booked next week and feeling fairly confident
some questions i have to the people who have taken the exam
What labs did you have?
Did you have the drag and drop question from 9tut
i use 9tut premium, about what % of the questions are actually on the exam?
@van People have been reporting that they only had 10 or so questions from 9tut…
@van On page 35 or 36 there’s a list of questions posted by a user nicknamed, “speedy”. Those questions are apparently new one’s that should be studied as well.
@beqnut I cannot confirm, but They seem eerily similar enough that I would guess those are the questions he meant.
Can anyone explain the answers for 4th question of the OSPF Hotspot ?
Question 4
R1 is unable to establish an OSPF neighbor relationship with R3. What are possible reasons for this problem? (Choose two)
A. All of the routers need to be configured for backbone Area 1
B. R1 and R2 are the DR and BDR, so OSPF will not establish neighbor adjacency with R3
C. A static route has been configured from R1 to R3 and prevents the neighbor adjacency from being established.
D. The hello and dead interval timers are not set to the same values on R1 and R3
E. EIGRP is also configured on these routers with a lower administrative distance
F. R1 and R3 are configured in different areas
The Answers are D and F
D. Hello and Dead interval timers have to be the same on both ends for a neighbor relationship to be established.
F. If either of them were configured to be in different areas then they wouldn’t be able to communicate.
Hope this helps
I took the exam recently. As many other people mentioned before me: lots of new questions which are not covered in the dumps that are here. I would say a couple of them from the speedy’s collection were on the test (around 5-7), but most of them were new. Most of them were so bizarre and confusing to me that I can hardly even remember to write some of them here.
I remember one of them was something about SVI which was a multiple choice (I Think 3 choice) question and didn’t make any sense to me. Actually, a lot of questions were very confusing and there were many times when I eliminate 3 answers as wrong and I am stuck between 2 because they both seem accurate (very frustrating).
Lots of questions about WAN technologies, point to point and other stuff that are not routing and switching releated which makes me wonder if the percentages that cisco gave for each topic on the test are accurate.
The simulations were spot on (EIGRP and OSPF), I aced them quickly because they are the same as the ones shown here and I practiced them many times.
I did not have drag&drop but some other people did so make sure you remember them as well.
All in all, you will not pass this test if your sole resource of learning is 9tut. You need to actually study and understand the material at least fairly well to be able to answer most of the questions.
Good luck everyone
Scheduled my test for Feb 23rd. I passed ICND 100-105, Security+ and CISSP. Now Studying my butt off to complete CCNA. @9TUT, can you add Speedys questions into the mix if they are indeed on the test now? Thank you.
I have a horrible feeling in my gut that using 9tut as a study resource is going to bite me in the butt.
I’m trying to read explanations to help better understand answers and what not but there have been many comments stating that only between 5-10 questions from the 9tut are on the exam.
I’m not too keen on just studying dumps since that won’t help me in the long run.
However I’d rather be studying from material that is actually in the exam. Does anyone know of any other resources similar to 9tut that i could try out?
@Mr Wick Please no matter the outcome of your exam, come back and share your experience here.
Friends, can you check if the simulation is valid?
You have the app available to open the file. Just sign up.
P R E P A W A Y
Get in together on google to access the site.
Can someone tell us more about the exam and the question encoutered?
@Mr Wick can you please share your study link for Security+ and CISSP.
@speedy
Could you put your questions here again, please?
When will it be your test?
Areste February 17th, 2018
Just passed with 905. 80% of questions are in 9tut, lots of them from this section. I got the OSPF hot spot and the EIGRP simulator. I guess if you know very well all the questions from 9tut you’ll be able to pass, so my advice is to study very well all the questions and solutions.
Thanks a lot 9tut. Next step CCNP switch.
New question from speedylist seems to be spot on !!
Taking exam in one week
congratulations gareth,
please share with us the new questions if you remember them
I quoted someone who passed not me ^^. But this guy said that the question from speed list are accurate
I’m taking the exam next week
Hi Guys !!! For those people who are still going to write do the following : Go back to the page on this site where Gareth has put the questions . Those are the questions you will get in the exam . Then do the 2 simulations -Ospf and Eigrp found on this site. I assume that you have used the 9tut questions . The questions on the 9tut are mostly not there -but Cisco does take some of them ,so it is important to do them – Gareth has the latest- go to the page and study them. You will do well in the test. I wrote and passed the Icnd2 some weeks ago -very similar questions to Gareth’s. Just do as I tell you.
I took the 200-105 a few days ago. I had about 5-7 questions from the posts listed here, the rest were new. I did buy the boson exam prep course a week ago and I am so glad that I did. The 9tut alone was just not enough for exam prep. I did my studying on Udemy which was great but I definitely needed both sources for the exam prep.
@Jedi can you remember the other questions?
@gareth. Not really… I remember the topics but not questions specifically.. I felt good the first 10 questions or so, then their was some odd ball questions that threw me. I was honestly really hoping to remember as many as I could so I could get back here and update, but when I left I could just not remember that many. I had sims on EIGRP and OSPF, a few RSTP and STP questions. probably 3 or 4 on PPPoE differences between client and server. Only 1 SNMP Question abuot traps. Questions on OSPFv3 vs v2. I did not have any drag and drop compare. They gave me a TACACS+ question about benefits, but it wasn’t the one on the list here.
@Jedi did you check the question from the “new questions section” ?
Question 1, I am seeing 2 different answers (Public and private) which one is accurate?
What is the default read-only (RO) mode of SNMP community string?
Which two statements about TACACS+ are true? (Choose two.)
A. lt can run on a UNlX server.
B. lt authenticates against the user database on the local device.
C. lt is more secure than AAA authentication.
D. lt is enabled on Cisco routers by default.
E. lt uses a managed database.
Hi I passed my exam today, and Guys only 7 or 8 question game form these dumps ( the old and the updated )
I want to say that if you depend on the dumps you will defiantly not pass , the questions were difficult and really deep, you need to understand very well every aspect in the exam martials.
I want really to help you and past some of the question but there were so complicated that i can remember any of them , all i can say there was question about SNMP-Server , LACP , leased PPPoE , QoS , APIC-EM , control-plane , MPVPN , static Etherchannel , SVI , authorization for PPP
all I can say to you is study rally hard before going to the exam, and believe me when you pass the exam you will feel very proud of your self.
Good Luck to you All.
@Speedy point taken. thank you sharing your experience!
you got new sims? or any Drag and Drop question?
@New , same EIRGP sim with different answers and same OSPF hotspot , no Darq and Drop
so none of the new questions was on your exam which posted on this site?
maybe one or two questions
does anyone know of a book that covers the objectives for the new exam verison. i’ve been using todd lammle one and it doesn’t go in depth on some of areas. i.e. snmp etc.
@speedy
The question of static etherhannel was : how to configure it? Mode on !
2 requierements for apic-em?
Can you tell more about the question ? Topics and so on

ok Thx @Mr Wick..I will look into after I complete ccna
@Rick Grimes looking good! are these question was on your exam?
@ Hot Lady, I have not taken yet. I am using what people have been recently posting as well as questions from 9tut and exam labs. I am working on another set right now.
@Rick GRimes, thanks!
@Rick Grimes Thanks !
Which of the following two things does QOS provide?
checksum
Route Information
checklist
inspection
Why is the answer checksum ?
@Rick Which mode of VTP will only forward messages and ignore updates?
You said client but the answer is transparent
@Rick Grimes
great initiative.
To further improve, just correct some answers and add other issues from the “speed” list published here. Just suggestion.
@Thefrus – do you know what answer’s are incorrect? Also I am putting another one together with more of the questions from the “speed” list. I started this for my own personal study. I have five 50 question quizzes that I compiled from 9tut and lab-exams. Working on the 6th with the newest questions I have been reading
@ Nixie, thanks for catching that (Radio buttons at midnight are annoying)
Are the news question from speedy list are valid ? Can someone confirm?
https://testmoz.com/1592840?logout=1#student
I am working on another practice quiz (Using questions from 9tut updated questions and Speedys) I am using this for my personal study, if any of the answers are wrong, please share your opinion. To take quiz, just type anything in the name, score and answers will display at the end. More questions will be added to this link as I am studying.
I just found this link on-line seems pretty legit to me
https://quizlet.com/267185523/icnd2-questions-flash-cards/
@Rick Grimes seem like same question someone copied from here. it says posted last week but someone posted here 2 or 3 weeks ago. same wording
@ Hot-lady, I noticed that but there were a lot more that were not posted here (at least 30 more) Never know, between 9tut, exam-labs, all these new ones and just studying like crazy I think I’m going to pass
@Rick when do you take the exam?
@Rick How do you know there are 30 more questions ?
@ Nixie, in a few days
Next week, we will see
