@fri Congratulation
can help me , I’m going to the exam soon.
. I appreciated that.
@Yugu I guess we are just going to have to agree to disagree. Backup your answer with proof and not just your claim. I posted link to the cisco source where I saw what I think is the answer. Post yours so we can read it for ourselves too.
@anon may be you think like that.
But i know really answer for this questions which cisco will be considered correct.
DEF )
what prevents DDOS?
dns snopping
Acl filter lits
Split horizon
DHCP snooping
answer split horizon
Does anyone have the exam soon?
@yugi , I can tell you are quite knowledgeable about cisco stuff as evident from your answer that split horizon prevents DDOS. Answer is DHCP Snooping. I’ll just ignore your answers from this point on cuz you don’t know shit! Don’t post answers if you don’t know it or haven’t done your research on it and stop misleading people.
@anon and from HOw DHCP snooping prevents DDOS?)))DDOS prevent IPS
Today, I just passed ICND2.
I found Q. from 9tut (ICND2v3 – New Updated Questions and Part 2) around 40% on that
also EIGRP sim and OSPF Hotspot questions.
Can’t remember other Q. cause I was diarrhea while take it.
Keep in your mind that you should understand question and answer not only remember.
Thanks 9tut and anyone.
Hi @13,is 9TUT question’s enough to clear the exam?

9 tut Admin,, please tell me when you would be sure with dumps for icnd2 because its still mentioned on your website “Cisco has updated the ICND2 exam and many new questions have been added so please wait for some time “
Passed today.. 9xx/811 minimum
54Q, 2sim: eigrp, ospf, DND (poison, LSA etc)
Many Qs I had from Qs shared here by 9tutters, new about 7-8 Qs
Thanks to all that had sharing here..
@Ms.snowy
Congratulation!!!
Thank you for Experience!
Congrats Ms.snowy, can you remember any of the ones not posted here please.
Ms.Snowy which questions did you exactly study?
@ewq
Thanks.
@routermaniac
I mean 9tut premium updated Qs or just file like ewq did by collecting Qs few pages behind.
New Qs I remember:
what routing protokol between administrative domains? (Ans:Bgp?),
command to verify one vlan had been removed from trunking (ans: switchport allowed vlan none?),
command to add vlan (ans:switchport trunk allowed vlan10)
something like: what ospfv3 setting like in ipv4 (routerid, primary interface, secondary int, neighbor),
a config picture telling one port configured as trunk at first then changed into access in next line, whatis the final config applied.? (Ans. Access),
choose one valid config of router on stick ( the ans. tell about variation of subinterface 0/0.20, ipadd, gw, vlan30 etc).
Which effects of using local span are true? (Choose TWO, not 3).
@Ms.Snowy
Thanks for that, I have seen most of those questions but the answers are sometimes different, like admin domain being EIGRP.
The SPAN question has always had 3 answers, where all 3 correct answers there to select or just two of them.
I have also seen the Wireshark answer given as debug.
Its difficult to know what cisco want when there are two possible right answers.
If you think of any more then please add to post
Well done again.
Which three options are capabilities of a dynamic multipoint VPN?
@Anon i think u r right for this QS. Please look at official book quotes-
“Also, the hub site does not need to configure any commands to support a new spoke site, because NHRP learns the relevant information. However, the discussion so far has not yet shown how DMVPN allows spokes to send packets directly to each other without any configuration about the other spoke.”
I like this site feedback comments…Thanks…
Hi guys , i passed exams 9xx/811 min . 61Qs
Most of questions were mentioned here in 9tut , simulators had same topology , but different tasks . I got maybe 4 drag&drop , but nothing complicated (DHCP , DNS , PPPoE). If you go through 9tut and have some overview about concept you should pass without problems.
Good luck to all during exam 🙂
@Dambldor Congrats
can you share drag&drop and the 61Qs please
Hello , Today I passed ICND 2 with marka 9xx. 61Qs
No dumps. Maybe 20+ questions from 9tut Lab eigrp and ospf.
Hi All
I passed today 9xx, lots of new questions, about 20% 9Tut but both labs from 9tut. You need to go through the exam topics well especially stuff that has appeared over the last year. 4 D&D, none that I had see n before but quite straight forward apart for a SPAM one that I had no clue about…must have got lucky.
Thanks to 9tut for support given.
Great
What about Laps anyone can share please
Hi guys,cleared my ICND2 today – 8xx/811
please make sure that you study 9tut questions.The old one’s as well as the updated one’s(premium zone).Th sims were: EIGRP & OSPF
There were lot of questions of IP SLA and OSPF v3 – study their fundamentals.
Also,along with 9tut question’s practice from this file.Here is the link for it:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1WaBFuD70YpP0v6ETyV_OcNGiDPKNEMyq
If you practice from both ( 9tut and file in the link) you can surely pass.
Make sure you get the fundamentals all correct.
Cheers 🙂

I do know how to open
This is frustrating, I have paid extra to see the Q&A’s but all the answers are scattered all over the site.
What links should i be following?
Thanks
@Mika
Your dumps contain all old questions for 200-105
Mika is talking shite
Took my re-certification. ICND2. 61 questions, 1 sim EIGRP, SPAN, BGP, APIC, SNMP, TACACS+ was in there. I passed today but had to use an educated guess on some of the questions.
I did self studies, rewrote many of my old notes, found maerials online used Tut for testing my skills and “flash card” studying.
I’ve been working with networks for a while now so the test wasnt that bad. Went through it in little over 40 mins.
Learn this stuff first, then study with 9tut;)
@Voyager
please help and share information if you can .
Hi there support. Do you have the flash card studying option available on your site?
Thanks
Hi @Abdulmajeed go to https://www.vumingo.com/ete-downloads.html and sign up an account. download the software and open the .ete after installing that downloaded software.
There are 518 questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey there Lackadaisical_Cisco
If you are talking about that site called Prep Away be careful as that .ete file with the 518 questions contain alot of wrong answers. double-check the answers on Google
About to go take ICND2 now! I’ll be back to review how well i feel my studies both through the cisco academy as well as 9tut (although i mainly used 9tut as a secondary resource to familiarize myself with the test format). Wish me Luck!
Thank you @ne02001
@Spooly good luck!!
Have any one VCE player 2.4.1. Please share the download link. Waiting
Hey, guys. Do you know if I mess up the sims but answer most of the questions correct, will I pass the ICND2??? What do you think? I do not feel very confident about the sims
9Tut and all, can you comment on this question, please? 9Tut says the answer is “It sends data on VLAN 1.” but based on the cisco refernce guide I made a conclusion that it is ” It uses the native VLAN.” and I explain why below. I would appreciate if someone could comment providing constructive feedback if you disagree.
Which statement about DTP is true?
A. It uses the native VLAN.
B. It negotiates a trunk link after VTP has been configured.
C. It uses desirable mode by default.
D. It sends data on VLAN 1.
I keep seeing this question over and over again. The answer is A. It uses the native VLAN.
Reference is here: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/switches/catalyst-6500-series-switches/24330-185.html
In summary, note this information about trunks:
CDP, VTP, and PAgP updates are always forwarded on trunks with a VLAN 1 tag. This is the case even if VLAN 1 has been cleared from the trunks and is not the native VLAN. If you clear VLAN 1 for user data, the action has no impact on control plane traffic that is still sent with the use of VLAN 1.
On an ISL trunk, DTP packets are sent on VLAN1. This is the case even if VLAN 1 has been cleared from the trunk and is no longer the native VLAN. On an 802.1Q trunk, DTP packets are sent on the native VLAN. This is the case even if the native VLAN has been cleared from the trunk.
Note: Since we are obviously talking about 802.1Q trunk, this part is what we are looking for: “On an 802.1Q trunk, DTP packets are sent on the native VLAN. This is the case even if the native VLAN has been cleared from the trunk.”
Hi Lackadaisical
when I try open he give me error
‘shellExecuteEx;code 255.
‘the extended attributes are inconsistent’
from my case it is installed properly @Abdulmajeed .
got thru ICND2 today 3 sims 61 questions and I did ICND1 last week both with 9xx…
There were new questions from IP SLA, APIC EM so focus bit more on infrastructure services section…
This is my advice…
Refer 9tut tutorials to understand the concepts [its important try to understand the concepts], may be u can read cisco learning community site, and few topics like QoS and things from ICTShore website [I recommend topics like QoS, GRE tunnel I refered their tutorials] apart from that I tried all 9tut questions including all composit exams…and this https://www.prepaway.com/cisco/test-king.200-105.27081.ete.file.html
has 519 questions but most of them already in the 9tut questions So I recommend to try the question from 400 and above [but keep in mind some of their answers are not correct]
apart from that if u have any doubts about config or simulations dont hesitate to try them in packet tracer which give u more confident….and simulations I guess 9tut questions are enough, coz in the exam they dont give hard questions as its a 2 hr exam, so just practice them…..in addition to these all as I mentioned earlier please focus on infrastructure services bit more…Thats It!! I guess thats enough and that how I prepared….good luck guys!!
Hi has anyone took the exam recently? mines is in 3 weeks
Yesterday got thru ICND2…
I tried all 9tut compsosit exams and new question [before that make sure to understand the concept, i used 9tut tutorials + cisco site + ictshore (this site is not enough for all topics but was useful for few topics like QoS and GRE tunnel)] and also practice these questions… google this “cisco.test-king.200-105.v2018-02-20.by.kate.518q” and from prepaway website and u can download the file and ETE player, try the questions 400 – 519 coz others are already repeating….other than that there were new questions from IP SLA and APIC EM, SPAN basically infrastructure services focus more on this as there were new questions and practice well, I guess that would be enough to pass…Good luck for u all guys!! 🙂
and also about the Sims – I guess preparing 9tut sim questions may be enough as in Exams they dont give very harder questions as its only 2 hrs exam, so no need to worry too much and make sure u know all basic configuration and show commands…Thanks
@saj_ how many questions were from 9tut and the kate.518q? Also what sims did you have
@Mrbean
around 55% of questions from both 9tut and kate…
Sims were OSPF, EIGRP (similar to 9tut sims) in fact i forgot the third one :/
61 queations were altogether 2 drag drop
I’ve just sat 200-105 today here in the UK and passed. Here is what I remember was difficult and what I guessed at:
1. Etherchannel protocols Pagp and Lacp, which one is Cisco proprietary and which one is associated with a mac address. How to enable portfast and bpdu guard.
2.Question on inform request which is snmpv2
3.Tacacs and Radius (which ports?) Tacacs server responses.
4.APIC-EM and ACLs (worth dowloading a free trial of this if at all possible and playing around with it
5. SIMS were easy, standard OSPF and EIGRP that appear here and in all the dumps.
6.HSRP versions 1 and 2, the differences.
7.ppp came up, simple commands.
8.Nothing on subnets at all. Nothing on port security (bizarre).
9.Vlan commands appear, need to know the basic ones.
That’s it!
Good luck everyone and thanks 9tut for a great website.
@mihailolja how many questions from 9tut?
@mihailolja
OSPF or OSPF neighbor sim?
Thanks.
I’ve been checking this forum for the last weeks and I’ve read all messages since January 6th when Cisco changed the questions. There is a lot of scams here, so I did my own compilation with the new questions posted since that day. I’m still working on it, cleaning and sorting it, and also my teacher said will help me with choosing the correct answers. There are around 150q in my list.
I plan to take my exam around may, but no rush for me so I wanna make sure I’m ready for it. When I have the question list tidy I will post it here.
But I repeat, I took all the questions from this forum with the posts of great buds since January 6th.
For those that have Packet Tracer 7.1.1, what are the exact files you need from the installer to run the program? My laptop is running it fine, but my desktop is having issues with the installer. I just want to try and copy exact files from the directory and email them to myself to my desktop.
1. EtherChannel protocols Pagp and Lacp, which one is Cisco proprietary and which one is associated with a mac address. How to enable portfast and bpdu guard.
PagP is Cisco Proprietary protocol [uses desirable and auto] -> Can Bundle up to 8 Links in one port channel.
Enabling Portfast[Used to make ports transition straight into forwarding] -> normally for access devices [PCS etc]
Default:
spanning-tree portast default
Per-interface:
interface fa0/0:
spanning-tree portfast
BPDU[Prevents that port from sending BPDUs]
Interface:
spanning-tree bpduguard enable
Default:
spanning-tree portfast bpduguard default
LACP: Can bundle 16links into a port channel. Only 8 are used those and rest are in back up mode until one of the links fail. [active + passive] -> Active – Wants to negotiate / Passive – Waits for negotiation to come.
2.Question on inform request which is snmpv2
-> Inform is still sent via UDP Protocol but has a Application Reliability added to it to ensure it gets there.
-> The NMS must acknowledge the Inform else it will be resent.
3.Tacacs and Radius (which ports?) Tacacs server responses.
-> Tacacs responses: Accept,Reject, Error, Continue
Tacacs is TCP uses port 49, encrypts Payload[password] and packet. [used normally for network devices]
Radius is UDP uses ports 1645, 1812 and only encrypts the payload[password] [Used normally for end-user authentication]
4.APIC-EM and ACLs (worth downloading a free trial of this if at all possible and playing around with it
-> look at ingress and egress. Might be mistaken but you can verify the working of the ACL’s via this. (havent used this before).
5. SIMS were easy, standard OSPF and EIGRP that appear here and in all the dumps.
6.HSRP versions 1 and 2, the differences.
-> HSRPv1 multicast is 224.0.0.2 / Supports IPV4 / LESS Groups allowed [0-255]
– No Unique Identifier used
– 0000:00C7:ACXX
-> HSRPv2 multicast is 224.0.0.102 / Support for IPV4/IPV6 Allows more groups [0-4095]
– Uniqued Identifier used
– 0000:09CE:FXXX
7.ppp came up, simple commands.
PPP -> Provides several benefits over HDLC.
– LCP / NCP
[LCP Link Control Protocol]}
– Data link layer [Multilink Support, looped link detection, Error Deection, Authentication via PAP/CHAPP]
[NCP Network Control Packet]
– Network Layer
Configurations:
9tut router:
hostname R1
username R2 pass 9tutpass
-> enter interface [interface s0/0/1]
-> encapsulation ppp
-> ppp authentication chap
-> ppp authentication PAP
-> ppp pap sent-username [hostname of neighbor router you want to authenticate] password[password set for that neighbor device]
8.Nothing on subnets at all. Nothing on port security (bizarre).
-> interesting 😮
9.Vlan commands appear, need to know the basic ones.
interface vlan vlan-id [Creates SVI]
-> Port needs to belong to this VLAN else the SVI wont come up.
-> Switchport mode access
-> Switchport access vlan 44[will put port into vlan 44]
Good luck to all those who are writing in the coming weeks and prepping for your ICND2.
MY advice:
Go over the ICND2 200-105 book,
Watch a video course on it [Chris Bryant is good]
Use this site to gauge where you lacking and should focus on.
@Mola you are just a waste of time, get the F out of here.
Which two benefits can you get by stacking Cisco switches?(choose two)
A. Each switch in the stack handles the MAC table independently from the others
B. You can add or remove switches without taking the stack down.
C. Each switch in the stack can use a different IOS image
D. The stack enables any active member to take over as the master switch if the existing master fails.
E. You can license the entire stack with a single master license
Correct Answer: B,D ———-A is definitely not correct
Do google search for “Creation and Management of Catalyst 3750 Switch Stacks” and you see a lot good info about stack switches.
@mool can you add to my inside group
im writing my exam next week.any new dump for 200-105. how many sim or labs do u get for icnd 2 exam…
Hello everyone, is there any configuration needed on this exam?in total how man quest in the exam?there dorpndorp quest?
The CISCO exam web page tells you the RANGE of possible questions on the exam.
@Colin
Your dumps are old
Yeah!! I finally passed the ICDN2. I am now a CCNA. Thanks to 9tut.net.
Most of the questions were from here BUT new Drag and Drops – Two in all.
Sims – EIGRP, OSPF – very similar to what we have here.
There were some new questions. Read ICND2 new questions, practice the Sims, you will do just fine. IT Security is my next target.
Commands:
Sho ip protocols
Sho ip route
Show ip eigrp nei
Sho running-cong
Good luck!
Last Friday I passed the ICND2, There were 61 questions consisting of,
Three sims – EIGRP, OSPF, OSPF Hotspot, 2 Drag and Drops.
90% of the questions are the same as 9tut.
Remember!!! Keep practicing the Sims and know your commands like the back of your hand, it will pay off in the long run.
That you 9tut.
@Delamere55 what was the third ospf sim? I thought there was only meant to be one
@Delamere55
Morning. What were the drag and drops about?
please anybody can help i need share drag and drops?
@Yigasa @Delamere55 what were the drag n drops?
