@Anon That is good to know. That is sadly what I discovered with my book, and when I search for APIC-EM, I just get informational promotional videos. I will go to youtube. Thanks!

Qzo’s post is probably fraud. I’ve seen that address before on fraudulent dump posts.

This link is to a vid about APIC-EM Path Trace, but it’s a pretty basic overview.

Well I’ve been reviewing the questions and the data I gave before is wrong, the real is
    – 22 questions from the “old ones” dumb.
    – 15 questions from the “new ones” dumb.

Today was my 3rd time taking the ICND2 to maintain my CCNA. I passed, but just barely, and this is after I was able to pass all 15 composite quizzes on 9tut with near perfection.
I rarely work with routing protocols as my primary job role is advanced switching with static routing. In the future I’ll likely pursue a CCNA Specialization as it would be more beneficial.

From my immediate memory here is the advice I can offer.
    – 40% of the questions were from 9tut
    – I got all 3 simulators (EIGRP, GRE & OSPF)
    – Several new QoS questions
    – Several new HSRP questions
    – Several new BGP questions specifically on iBGP and EBGP
    – Did a lot of educated guessing by eliminating choices which were clearly wrong.

I just too the test yesterday and passed, this was my second time in 7 days as I missed the first test by 43 points. My experience was the first test I had 61 questions and one SIM (EIGRP) about 85% of the questions were from here. My second test June 1st 2018 I got all 3 SIMS (OSPF,EIGRP and GRE) I also had one SIMLET the drag and drop(Split horizon, hold timer ,poison reverse etc) and a total of 51 questions.
It looks like if you get a 61 question test then you might only have one SIM but if you get 51 question test you might get one SIM.
I read the book on and off fo months then I did CBT Nuggets then I used 9tut and practiced testing and did all three SIM’s as stated above. Looks like they through more at me a week later as far as SIMS and a SIMLET.
Good LUCK! its was a harder test than ICND1

  12. Anonymous
    June 2nd, 2018

Correction: It looks like if you get a 61 question test then you might only have one SIM but if you get 51 question test you might get more than one SIM.

PS: Practice all 3 SIMS seven ways to Sunday and you will be golden, just keep in mind they SIMS will sh the same questions but doesn’t mean it is the same answers, you must understand what they want you to look for. Its learning to Tshoot not just remembering the answer’s.

Hello Everyone! Just passed this exam today(862), an exam I thought I would failed when I saw how many new questions I’ve had, I don’t want to discourage anyone but I was studying dumps from 9tut in pdf files that where added since last summer here, I tried to find also as many new dumps I could + explanation where needed. Lets say I had almost half of the questions from here(a total of 54) I had also one SIM from here (EIGRP).
One advice for you: Don’t panic if you don’t have any idea about some questions, just try to choose the answer by elimination.
Unfortunately I don’t really remember the questions, I would gladly post them for you guys.
Thank you 9tut! Good luck to all!

Trying to work through all of them. I notice HSRP, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, RSTP, etc come up a lot so trying to study up on those as much as I can. Hello,

Today I passed my ICND 2 exam from the 1st attempt and here’s a short review which might help the candidates.

    1. Learn the material, there are plenty of new questions which were not included in the dumps and the ones which were there, had crucial changes so the right answer was completely different.
I think Cisco employees are actively checking the dumps and do their black magic on the questions 😀

    2. Learn the style in which they are asking the questions. At first, the questions seems quite unclear. This will not change with time, but you will get used to the blurry style and understand them faster.

    3. Actively search for materials and information if you don’t really understand why any answer is marked for correct. Understanding is your best friend not only for the certification.

    4. SDN/APIC/Trace Path, cloud services and a lot of IPv6 questions, etc.. Learn the new technologies as they are starting to ask for them.

    5. Practice. Get comfortable with CLI commands as there are a lot of troubleshooting/config questions.

Hi everyone, not including those idiots who wants to scam people. Ive passed my icnd2 today. First of all i would like to say a big thank you to 9tut. It helped a lot.
For what u want to hear, i had 54 questions, mostly which came from the 2 updates and the composite questions. I finished all the composite over the weekend. It was of great help.
Pls make sure u practice all the composite and the updated questions (both).
I had 2 sims, eigrp and ospf hotspot. The hotspot is exactly the same here, but the eigrp simulations are different. You need to know your commands to be able to get the answers.
I will still be hanging around here for a couple of days so if anyone has any questions im happy to help.
Good luck to everyone still planning to take the exams.
Before i forget i also had d&d same here.

    PASSED
Gotta tell you guys…the bulk of my study was from Udemy.com & YouTube videos. I didn’t spend too much time on 9TUT for questions other than to help guide study. There are some good tutorials here…no doubt. These guys put the work in to help & I think it’s a good idea to do to guide your studies (even if you do get locked out when you least need to be locked out). It DEFINITELY won’t get you past this new version, I promise you. APIC-EM is on the list & needs attention, If you don’t understand IPV6 and how it is used with EIGRP, OSPF, GRE, BGP, HSRP, APIC-EM, SDN…you’ll come up way short. This is not news. Cisco has this on the website for the test. The test is not really difficult if you understand the concepts and can APPLY them. You don’t need dumps.

Sooooooo I’ve been waiting to post until now. Passed ICND1 & 2 thanks to 9tut. ICND1 all the information is here on 9tut. For ICND2 not so much. The information is helpful you will see some of the questions on here word but not all. Since I’m fresh out of ICND2 let me tell you what i saw. there is HSRP questions as far ad HSRP states also there is some weird shit i never seen like SVI and SDN stuff but don’t worry its really only like one question from each topic. Honestly now that i think about it while i’m typing i would say you can get 80% of ICND2 from 9tut. Also the post from Tomcat https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2imx6rougqnla2z/AAAMR_KERfE6fEJy0GYILEQYa?dl=0 and you are golden. OSPF sim was different no config just standard questions. EIGRP sim similar and easier in my opinion if you know what you are doing. On Eigrp sim i can remeber K value was wrong on one. Network wasn’t wasn’t configured right on one. ping question the network was missing. load balance was even so Router sent data through both routers. it felt like i was going to fail but i passed. I hope this nugget has been informative and i would like to thank you for reading lol. 4real though study the stuff on premium membership and you are good

Hi guys, I just come out from the exam an hour ago. There are a total of 54 questions, with about 80% of them coming out from 9tut. Only 1 sim on EIGRP. 2 of the 4 questions from sim were slightly modified, so be careful about it. One question on OSPF topology with 4 questions. Anyway my studies come from the official cert guide and understanding of the dumps’ questions from this website. Hello guys,

Just passed my ICDN2. A lot of questions about Cisco APIC-EM, SDN and those tricky question where you must use method of elimination. SIMs are the same but a lot lot lot of new questions. Even If I have 7+ years of experience in networking ( Especially Cisco, I’m old CCPN R&S guy ) this was difficult exam for me.
It’s been five years since I last passed the Cisco Exam. I’m a bit sad to bring myself to the situation that I have to start from scratch but happy to meet new technologies and my knowledge does not stand. Let’s go to the CCNP R&S.

And keep in mind guys..to attain knowledge, add things everyday. …

    June 20th, 2018

I passed the exam at 13th of June with 847. It was hell of an experience, actualy i gave up at the half of it but decided to finish it. 80% of the questions were new for me, however I purchased 9tut premium membership, and had all the resources here.

I cant remember the questions and I had no chance to take notes with me. There were similar questions but tricky modifed versions. OSPF questions were similar to this. I got the eigrp sim only but with different questions it wasnt hard. There were new APIC questions as well.

I had to think a lot, differentiate, make exclusions but i was never sure about most of the answers.

9tut you really should update the question lists.

A few questions on BGP, HSRP, SDN
9tut OSPF SIM was very similar, be sure to understand Hello and Dead timers
    9tut EIGRP SIM dead on
1 Drag and Drop for Hold down / Split Horizon/poison reverse etc…
Some new questions, same concepts, you will have no problem if you use the process of elimination

I PASSED!!! I literally mear hours ago 1000/874 Thank you GOD
    54 questions
    2 Sim
    No dnd
I used the one drive links from here, the quizlet link that was shared and I also used the Cisco offical Cert Guide by Wendell Odom (read it like 3 times).

A couple small questions I can remember:
A multile choice question about “shadow routers”
And know you show commands inside and out. Some you use on simulations and some are for multiple choice that you can’t check you just have to know.
(Sorry I’m not very helpful with remembering all the questions, test was all kind of a blur)

And finally Know your stuff, brain dumps will not help you 100% on this test.

    passed icnd2..thanks 9tut..
but one needs to know their stuff. My advise is read Todd Lamle or any of your chosen resources. Read to understand coz for me most of the questions i had never seen them especially SDN, APIC-EM, loads of questions from these i was like What!
9tut gave me confidence but as i said, read to understand because the exam is a bit harder, for me at least!

Can some other people comment on Riasat’s comments June 27th. Is it just an advertising ploy.
These exams are only 20$US but are they still worth it.

“Passed” June 26th referred to his usage of the chinese dump. What is the chinese dump.

I just passed ICND2 54 questions, 904/1000. Got 1 SIM (EIGRP). It was pretty difficult. 9tut helped alot. But not all questions are the same. I would estimate 60% are from 9tut.
Prepare your study from here and from other sites. Know the concepts, you will do fine.

Hello All. I did the test today and passed with the score around 9xx. I had OSPF simlet and OSPF hotspot from this site but different questions (they weren’t particularly difficult if you understand the concepts and outputs. I had no drag and drop. Plenty single choise questions. About 70-80% of the questions were from 9tut (thank you!!!) or very very similar and I also had several questions with the answers from 9tut which are still mysterious for me which answers are correct :). There was only one SDN question (about the APIC), but there were also some new and difficult questions (for example very complex question about some features of TACACS+ – I don’t remember the answers even now). I had the question with 4 switches connected as square and very detailed and tricky answers about STP – you have to know every detail of the algorithm! I had also a tricky question about how to delete a VLAN from trunk: “no switchport trunk allowed vlan 10” would be the answer I guess. Also how to restore to default the hello interval in IPv6 in OSPF: “no ipv6 ospf hello-interval 40” was the last one which could be good. One question about IP sla debugs. In general, studying only dumps definitely won’t be enough. If you read carefully twice, make notes and understand Odom’s book + some hands-on + 9tut will be enough I guess. At least it was ok for me 🙂 now I start the journey towards CCNP! Good luck guys in your studies.

Anyone get any subnetting questions or is that all left at the ICND1 level?

  80. Nick
    July 7th, 2018

No subnetting questions but you might have a question about auto summary so you have to know the address class boundaries and subnet ranges. So I would say- yes you have to review the subnetting details.

Hello everyone, i just passed today the ICND2v3 exam with 910, for the purpose of re-certification. It wasn’t easy. I would say that around 20-22 questions were EXACTLY the same as with 9tut, around 10-12 were almost the same or a bit similar (with different answers) and the rest were completely unknown, with a total of 54 questions. I got the EIGRP sim with different topology and different answers but the same methodology and the OSPF HotSpot exactly the same with 9tut. Also 1 Drag and Drop question same with Question 3 of the DnD section. I guess i got really lucky because i answered over 8-10 questions by sheer luck. Unfortunately, i don’t remember all the new questions and the answers.
One questions was about SVI and how you troubleshoot them(choose three):
    Answers:
    ASIC
    Frame Size
    IP routing
    Encapsulation
    Interfaces
    smth else

How do you complete ipv6 for EIGRPv3 in an Interface:
    (config)# something (was irrelevant)
(config-if)# ipv6 unicast-routing (which is not an interface command)
    (config-if)# ipv6 enable
    (config-if)# ipv6 eigrp 1 ( i answered this)

When you use cloud services which service is more “exposed” to the cloud:
    Desktop as a Service
Software as a Service ( i answered this)
    Infrastructure as a Service
    Platform as a Service

What is true about the DEFAULT VLAN:
it is named default by default
it is always the same with native vlan
its VLAN 1 (i answered this)
some other answer i dont remember

What is a part of the Control-Plane (choose 3):
    Layer 2 destination control
    Layer 2 sameword control
    Layer 3 sameword control
    Layer 3 transport control ???
    Layer 4 application control

Question about Dynamic VPN (choose 3)
one answer was it can auto create IPSec tunnels
another allows dynamic addressing or smth
another was it doesnt need additional configuration on the hub for new spokes
    it allows partial mesh topology
    1 other answer

question about QoS policing what is true (choose 3):
You can use it for inbound & outbound traffic
    it drops excess traffic
    it avoids queue delays
    it queues excess traffic
you can use it only for outbound traffic or smthing
    1 more answer

Question for SNMPv3 what does this do: (choose 2)
    R1# snmp-server host 1.1.1.1 trap v3 auth md5 cisco”
Sets the R1 password to cisco
Configures host 1.1.1.1 to receive informs (or smthing)
Configures host 1.1.1.1 to send informs (or smthing)
Configures host 1.1.1.1 to receive traps
Sets the host 1.1.1.1 password to cisco

and many more questions i dont remember 🙁
Hope to find this a bit helpful
    Good luck to all

I forgot to thank 9tut for the helpful tutorials and study material.
I wish you would update your question database though because its not 85-90% as you say but more about 55-60% (which is not enough to pass) and it requires paid membership to access them.
Nevertheless, thank you for helping us with the exam!
    keep up the good work.

    @ Valky
Good luck mate, be sure to study about cloud services IaaS,PaaS,SaaS,Control-Plane, SNMP, QoS policing, Dynamic VPNs and APIC-EM as part of SDN. Lots of the new questions were from the above topics.

i forgot ipv6 as well for EIGRP and OSPF, study commands, configuration, etc

    July 12th, 2018

i remembered 1 more question. its an easy question and i got it wrong… shame on me:
it was about how to find out the NATIVE vlan:
    answers:
    show ip interface
    show interfaces
show interfaces portname? switchport (smth like that)
1 more answer (i believe it had trunk in it)

there are two commands that can show you the NATIVE vlan:

    -show interfaces switchport
    -show interfaces trunk

so if you get an answer like the above (it required 1 answer only) choose it. also check for syntax mistakes cause cisco does that to confuse us sometimes.

    i cant believe i got it wrong…..

I got new questions!!! Did not pass!!!

    July 13th, 2018

i remembered also one weird question with a diagram topology.
there were two host PCs named X and Y connected to a switch and the switch was connected to a router as well. No other information (Ip addresses, protocols, etc, nothing just the diagram).
The question said: Both PCs are connected through their Gigabit Ethernet to the switch but Host X cannot communicate with Host Y. What is a possible cause for this: (1 answer)

A-Host Y has an invalid IP and invalid Mask
B-Host X has an invalid Mask
C-Host X has a Broadcast IP set for its IP address (or smth like that)
D-Host Y has a router-id for his IP address (or smth like that)

i answered A because it made more sense to me.

Questions I remember 1. command how to add new VLAN 2. how to verified voice and all others are about command in VLAN.
