@C1sc0Fr3ak Thanks for the pointers and encouragement! Yeah, mine was heavy on IP SLA, SVN, and knowing the differences between IPV6 and IPV4 commands for various protocols.
This was my second time through and I was really not looking forward to a third, but I PASSED so that’s a huge weight off my shoulders.
So the general consensus that 9tut by itself is not enough to pass, is right. However The sims alone are worth the premium membership. Going through those a couple times definitely helped me understand eigrp, ospf, and GRE a lot better and feel more comfortable navigating the show commands. And as a bonus, it reduces your overall panic level when they pop up on your test, so that right there is worth the price.
First time through I took a boot camp and used Boson, but then I didn’t take the test for nearly a year after the bootcamp (life gets in the way sometimes.) Second time, 9tut, bought a dumb, and spent 30+ hours studying for 2 weeks before the test. Knowing why all the other answers are wrong is as important as (and will serve you better than) knowing which one is right. Neither 9tut or the dumb had a lot of exact questions on the test maybe 30% total not including the sims (admittedly I focused on the updated question sections and didn’t spend as much time on the 500+ general topic questions) but between the two there weren’t too many surprises.
Not a fan of the TACAS+ (versus Radius and regular TACAS) Q and several BGP Q’s. There was one about igmp too. What the hell?
So thanks again to 9tut and the community here. All your comments were invaluable to painting a picture for an effective study path. Good luck guys! It ain’t easy but you can do this!

Took ICND2 and passed with 9XX thanks to 9Tut and tutorial videos by Chris Bryant. Most of the questions were from 9tut. Got OSPF Hotspot and EIGRP Simulator questions. EIGRP Simulator was slightly different from the one here (the exam had Load balancing and different K-values).

I took yesterday ICND 2, and got 900+, most questions were from ICND2 new question and sim’s were OSPF Hotspot and EIGRP. EIGRP were little different but understandable it has metric weights configured too. Thanks 9tut.

G what do you mean a little different did they change the values?

i just answered my test 30 min ago…. The test was very similar to the anonymous link above which helped me speed up my exams so i could have enough time on the sim’s. i used dumps just to test my knowledge and not to memorize them.(please do not memorize dumps). The sims on 9tut.net are the sims that came for my exams. Only Eigrp 3 question was that the k values were not matching with R5. and the image was opposite that all but 3 out of 4 questions were same.

i would recommend that you learn the concepts and implement the acquired knowledge on this site. and please do not memorize as it will lead to confusion and lack of confidence. I completed my exams in 35 min. Not boasting. i did not waste time on questions that i did not have answers as the options confuse you and time anxiety gets to you and you waste more time ( im clearly talking about my self and my experience )

I really wonder how people work in IT field if they just want to memorize questions to pass the test and have CCNA. Then what you do at work when you would have to troubleshoot networks.Use dumps to check your knowledge and learn from explanations if you are wrong.

So looking at the pdf file in here this question is duplicate(page 152 & 158) and the answers are contradicting each other:

I Totally agree with you @Linecon0. Dumps are really not tools to be used…. but like any other tool, its the way one uses it that matters….. Packet tracer also a tool. GNS 3 a tool. Video lessons tool. Udemy etc etc.

Don’t trust this stupid anonymous guy posting dump links. Just prepare what’s available on 9tut. Got more than 50% questions from 9tut. Other questions I got from Measureup test at well. Only got 1 simulator question which is Same EIGRP sim question from 9tut. But one question was
Why are R1 and R2 doesn’t form neighbor relations ship. Answer is due to K values mismatch. You can find K Values from “show ip protocols” command.

Another question I didn’t come across on 9tut before

mNa – No ACL sim on ICND2 but the content IS covered. Composite, I can’t speak to that.

I want to share my experience about the test.
My first test was icnd1 with score 897/1000.
Im self study student so its not easy for me.if you have a question you must search for the answer and this is difficult.
I want to share my study plan.
I read the official book(odom) a couple of times.Yes a couple times.both books icnd1 and icnd2.
I saw several times videos from Jeremy cbt nuggents to understand the concepts.
Take a lot of notes.repeat.
Videos from the beginning.repeat.
Took a lot of configuration labs and troubleshooting.
Its very important to understand the concepts.
Don’t memorize question.if you do that it’s a huge mistake.
Now on my test.
54 questions 1 lab and the base was 811 to pass.
30 questions from here as it is.
10 question similar from here.not exactly the same.if you change a word in the question you change the answer. That’s why its important not to memorize the answers.
5-8 brand new questions.i didn’t know the answer.but you need to be focused and the answer will come.
1 lab about eigrp.same topology as here but the answers is different.
Unequal load balance NOT equal because of the command variance 2 on the running config.
No neighbor relationship because of passive interface fast Ethernet 0/0
No neighbor relationship because of command auto summary on running config and eigrp section.
And one other.
1 question about pvst+ and rpvst+ differences.

Hello. Today I passed my exam. There were about a half of new questions and the other half you can find here. I got EIGRP Sim and OSPF Hotspot Sim. Godd luck everyone!

Passed this week. GeorgeTF was spot on with everything he mentioned. I got the EIGRP sim which is the same topology as here but different questions than the sim on 9tut. OSPF hotspot was the same. No D&D. There were several questions that were similar to examples from here but the wording and answers were different.

I had a questions about OSPFv6 that couldn’t form adjacencies. Look into OSPFv6 NBMA.

Another question that sticks out is something about findinging if a switchport has a vlan but the standard command of switchport trunk allowed vlan remove command wasn’t there in that form. Look into all variations of that command.

If you pay close attention to each question and use deductive reasoning you will pass. Know all of the material for ICND2 from this site.

Wow what a relief, my advice to anyone taking the test is LEARN THE CONCEPTS do not make the mistake of learning the questions, you have to know your stuff, simply no way around it. The exam is tough, despite my high score there were moments when i genuinely thought i would fail the exam, theres an awful lot of “gotcha” questions, i was surprised at the amount of new questions. I will try to list some as i remember.

Take care ! Pass Leader is a bull shit. They sale 90$ for ICND2 V3 the ccna full exam old version.
It’s full of Frame Relay questions and it is impossible to modify the vce file in order to train and get correct self assesment.
Also, I would not suggest to click on given hyperlink without scanning them with VirusTotal. I suspect this to be malware …

confused which one is IEEE standard and which one is CISCO proprietary standard?
1. Remember the Windows Server has NIC teaming feature which can be LACP, so certainly LACP is not Cisco standard.

2.like DTP, Cisco like the word “Desirable,”, so “Desirable, Auto” is for Cisco Pagp.
in other hands, Active, Passive will be for LACP.

Hello Passed ICND-2 exam today 8xx/1000 54 questions requested 811/1000
2 labs :

1 EIGRP with 6 routers. One with 2 serial links. And 2 switch gathering in same sub 3 Routers
wrong config were :
network command missing and not advertising loopback address
One Neighbor relationship not established btween R1 and R6 due to wrong AS number
Other question :
Which path to go from one router to another one.
Because one router has 2 serial links going to switch, it could exists 2 ways.
The question was through which router -> To give answer use ‘sh ip route’ command and look for the sub targetted. The eigrp route table gave only one route x.x.x.x [90/2538521] via 192.168.123.2 S1/1 that was towards one serial link, then you deduce the router.

2nd lab was OSPF.
They were 3 routers in one AREA and the lab says that the ospf is configured with auto-sum.

Question : how many subnet will be present in the route table for R1?

And feew questions that I can a bit remeber but not sure of all, the best way is to study each topic like always
