So I passed my test today 896. I had 4 or 5 drag and drops and none of them were on 9tut. I had the OSPF and GRE sims. I would say I saw about 10 questions from the new stuff here but most were new. This site help me study but would never have passed with just the questions from here.

Any recent update from anyone who has given 200-105 in these few days?

I take the exam Dec 7. I am re-certifying my CCNA.

I have read the Cisco Books and have done all the labs.

I am confident I know how Cisco devices work and how to troubleshoot them.

Knowing that and PASSING a test are 2 different things though.

90% of us here are not just wanting to memorize test questions, we just want a sample of how these questions will be asked so we could get a feel for how to prepare ourselves for the exam.

If anyone has any information about the new exam release please let us know.

I passed with 908/1000. I covered the material and did some questions form an old dump (Usually use the dumps just to get a feel of the exam so i don’t kill myself to get the latest ones). I remember seeing my be 4 questions from the dump on my exam. However, I found the exam a good test of concepts and it had the usual couple insane knowledge “How the hell would I know that without writing books for Cisco” questions. Nevertheless, I got quite a few drag and drop questions and 3 troubleshooting multiple question sims. I would not have expected any other result than a pass. After all I am CCNP certified. Study hard guys… This one full of tricks.

hey everyone! happy studying. i just passed ICND1 now taking ICND2. what are the current sims on the ICND2 exam? I have seen OSPF and GRE… are those the sims from the labsim link on the right? just passed ICND2 and it’s a little harder than ICND1.

you should really have a good backround on VLANS, SDN, APIC-EM, STP, RSTP, Cloud Computing because bulk of the questions are about them. GRE, MLPP and EIGRP have the same topology in the examples from here but different answers. Drag and drops are about SDN, Cloud computing and VLANS. do not rely on dumps because most of them won’t show up on the exam

Everyone do not fall for passleader or lead2pass dumps they are scams after your hard earned money. Just wait for 9tut or study

I was given 4-5 Drag and Drops D&D, OSP LSA packet types, SDN placement (southbound, JSON, RESt and so on), EIGRP states. Cant remember the others. Both sims on this site.
Two questions that threw me were, “What protocol will prevent DHCP IP Leases?”
The options were “STP, 802.1x, DTP, and VTP” I still don’t know the answer to this one. If someone is able to I would greatly appreciate it.
Also “What EtherChannel protocol will allow ports to be connected to multiple switches?” (so essentially point to multi-point) “PAgP or LACP”. Didn’t know that one either.
If your planning on taking the CCNA, I recommend ODOM’s, did not care for Lammle. His book didn’t go into nearly enough detail. Also beware dumps and even this site. Several time answers were wrong. It is not enough knowing what the answer is, delve deep to find out why and you’ll be fine.

Passed the CCNA last week using 9tut, the Cisco Networking Academy material, and Packet Tracer. Had five drag & drops relating to SPAN, SDN placement, LACP/PAGP, EBGP/IBGP, and DTP port states. My two labs were variations of the OSPF and GRE/EIGRP simulators, both were loaded with errors that weren’t related to the questions in an attempt to mislead. Nearly all the individual questions were brand new, lots of STP/DTP/VTP/SDN/WAN/IPV6/PPP material. Cisco is evidently leaning further into APIC/AAA/Cloud/Virtual Services, so be sure to get familiar with these before testing.

As many others have said, it is simply not enough to memorize answers, passing requires that you grasp all the major concepts and can display proficiency in the fundamental nuances of each major subject. Wendell Odom, Kevin Wallace, and CBT Nuggets all offer excellent insights via their Youtube channels.

Good luck to everyone preparing for the exam, maybe it was just the particular test I received, but it was far more difficult than I anticipated despite how well-prepared I felt going in. If you study hard, stay calm, and anticipate their tricks, you should make it through with a passing score.

I’ve past my ICND2 exam yesterday and I can tell you that is a difficult exam to pass.
Found a couple of dumps online, but not even 10 questions came on the exam.
What I did was followed the ICND2 nuggets and studied the Lammle book.
Topics that I got on the exam were: BGP, SDN, WAN, SNMP, LaGP and the 3 sims that you can find on this site. Beware that the questions are different, but the topology is the same.
To everyone out there; study hard on all the topics and practice a lot in simulations.

I took icnd2 for the 2nd time around and passed.

First time taking it I wasnt anticipating any IPV6 questions and guess what ended up getting 6 or 7 of them which caused a fail.

I came back home and studied like hell for three week before taking it again. Most of the question I got on the initial test was completely different and even the drag and drops were diff, no IPV6 questions either.

Word of advice 9tut alone will not get you to pass. Lab like crazy, read the book over if you have to and take the exam simulators as much as you can.

Done the exam last week and failed by skipping the OSPF Sim question by mistake. The EIGRP Troubleshooting Sim is in the exam with 5 drag and drop questions. All new

Lots of Drag and Drops, questions about BGP, EBGP, IBGP and they are not here. Only relying on 9tut training is not enough. SIMS are valid, got the GRE and OSPF sim. Also, noticed that you cant MARK questions and move forward like before we used to? Hard to attempt all 52 q.s in time keeping this scenario in mind. Lots of Drag&Drop questions as well so you got to learn the definitions correctly.

Just passed ICND 2 today. I reckon about 5 questions in total were unique. The rest i seen on here previously. The sims i got was exactly the same GRE and OSPF with very similar answers. The fact I was so familiar with the topologies in the SIMS made it so easy.

I got 926/1000 which was less than my ICND1 (956/1000) however half way through the exam i knew i was passing, were as in ICND1 i thought i was failing.

There is no specific topic focused on in the exam. It is so important to understand and learn the course and just use these questions to cement the principals down. It is not possible to just memorize the questions, there are too many for that but if you know what your doing then you’ll just learn more from these questions and it’ll get you there.

Passed my ICND2 yesterday. the test was not too hard but my advice would be learn the concept and don’t memorize the questions. 10% of my questions came from this site. Overall I got QoS, SNMP, APIC-EM, PPP, Trunking (VTP DTP and STP) plus GRE and OSPF sims. Note that the topology of the sims are identical but the questions may differ. Do a ” sh run” and compare both outputs and you should be able to answer any of those questions. I will post questions as I remember them.
