No you can only use the Tab-Key so you better know command line well. Using the ? to configure would be a waste of time on the examine you’ll be fine.
alhamduliLLAH passed ICND2 today with 986 … got vtp (9tut.net) and frame-relay (9tut.com) … followed Jericho.632q and AcutalTests.204q and most importantly 9tut. Big Big thanks to 9tut …
Passe ICND 2 yesterday..
I had 43 q
Had
1. VTP Sim :https://www.9tut.net/icnd2/icnd2-labsim/vtp-configuration-sim
Note: I had to configure first available IP address has the switch vlan1 IP.
Please be carefull to check the default gateway and other switch’s IP using #Show run
Because my first availbe one was the 3rd IP on that subnet (1st and 2nd was Default gateway and other switch’s IP address)
2. Frame Relay Sim (4 Questions to answer using FR command #Show Frame Realy Map and #Show Run)
Note: This is a new question I didn’t see it anywhere in this site
All other Qs are from 204q VCE and 9tut.
Make sure know the stuff before you face the exam. I wasn’t expecting any new question after reading all the comments here and other sites. But there I got a new Frame Relay Q.
I got 950+ only because I had the knowledge on FR.
Good Luck all.. Cheers !!
The frame relay questions are here: http://www.9tut.com/ccna-hotspot-questions
Scroll down past the first hot spot until you see it
Yes that’s the question, Somehow I’ve missed it from this site. But I went through it and there was a bug (I think it’s a bug, not sure)in that question.
The first 1 it said the IP 172.30.4.4 (not 172.30.0.4), but I assumed it was 172.30.0.4 and answered the relevant DLCI as the answer.
Hey Guys
Will be giving ICND2 my ALL on Thursday 24 May.
I’ve been studying hard so I hope to pass.
What is the passmark, 800 or 850?
can anybody send me the latest dump please!! amma be taking the ccna exam june 5th. it will be a big help thank you slmwt_assefa@yahoo.com!
I would like those too since I will be taking it Wednesday evening. Thanks.
cayers101@yahoo.com
I took the ICND2 yesterday and failed …..my trouble was with ACLs and NAT/PAT. I had a question like this that i am not understanding
How many ACLs can you apply per interface?
you have have 1 ACL per interface
you can have unlimited ACLs applied
I cant remember the other choices. Does anyone remember this question and answer. Thanks
9tut YOU ROCK!!! alot of questions on the test. Sims were frame-Relay and VTP with different addresses
Passed my ISND2 today! 930/1000,
most all questions were from dumps from leadtopass(new one may 12). had the vtp sim on icnd2 9tut, had the frame relay on ccna 9tut. and I also had a OSPF hotspot with 4 questions that i havent seen at all. which was a pretty hard hotspot. cant remember all the details but good luck!
may i please have the latest dumps taking my exam on the 29th please help or send tojulitahm@yahoo.com
My question is to Bobbie,
You failed the ICND2 exam? Ok, what study material did you use ?
I rarely read that someone failed with all the updated study material that is available to us between 9tut.com & examcollection.com.
Allow me to say this, I failed the ICND1 twice. Because of studying old out dated material from other sites. I finally passed in December 2011 using how2pass.com. Which I had known about this site a long time ago. I’m preparing to take ICND2 tomorrow. I’ll post my results.
Hi Guys
Writing tomorrow, 24 May @ 10am.
I have worked really hard for this exam so I truely hope that it pays off.
Will let you know how it went and what to look out for.
Good luck to all
ICND2 booked for tomorrow at 13:00. Feeling fairly confident as I’ve put in a fair bit of work.
I’ll let you know how it goes tomorrow and tell what questions I came across. Wish me luck.
J
Hello everybody, I pass ICND2 today with a 874. I used Cisco.AcutalTests.640-816.v2012-02-05.204q.vce from Examcollection. This vce is 100% valid.
All multiple choice question was on point. However my score was low because I got hit with a few surprises. 4 drag & drops, One, I never seen before, Two, Exam G question 15, all IPs were different. 3, Exam G, question 22 the same, Exam H question 20 was the same. The same VTP ICND2 lab sim everybody else got. Different ip’s of course and to use the last available ip address. The CCNA Hotspot Frame Relay sim, same concept but all the IP addresses & multiple choice questions were different. I got this question wrong. And last but not least, OSPF sim, again, same concept, different ip addresses & choices. I got this wrong as well. My advice, study the concept of both inside and out and you will do fine.
9tut rocks. Couldn’t have completed the vtp sim correctly without this site. Thanks. And I will be making a donation. If this site have help you in anyway, it wouldn’t hurt to make a small donation to help support it.
@ Bobby: 1 access list per direction, per protocol, per interface.
I have some trouble with ACL’s, mostly the math for calculating the blocked address/range so I am studying hard on it. Especially the longer questions like: block network x but allow hosts y, block only http for host x, etc.
Scheduling my exam somewhere in June. Good luck to you all!
Hi Guys
Passed with 954!
VTP Sim, VLSM drag&drop (similar to Dentist of TowTruck), Frame-Relay and OSPF sims.
Quite a few STP and switchport security q’s.
You need to know you ACLS and NAT as well.
Now off to a weekend break-away.
Best of luck to you all!!!
Hi everyone
I’m off to take ICND2 I’ve studied so hard it should be a crime. Read through both my CCNA press books, studied two dumps, created my own labs, and used this site Cidco_Newbie congrats. 🙂
Passed mine yesterday thanks to the sims on this site.
Thank you all!
Thanks DGA
May the “force be with you” 😉
Big-UP to 9TUT !!!
Without you guys certification would be A LOT harder and less fun
Hi everyone I just cleared ICND2 916/1000 and getting ready to tackle CCNP. For some odd reason I had a bunch of SIMs 5 to be exact. Also most of the questions are worded different so please understand the concepts and the dumps are 70% valid.
Now it’s time for me to take a much needed break from studying about two months.
Dreams come true for those who work. 🙂
Best of luck to everyone!!!
taking my ICND2 exams in two weeks time.could anybody kindly forward me the latest dumps to macjohn10@ymail.com.Thanks in advance
Thanks 9TUT i passed in the ICND-2 with score 986!!!!!!
I passed yesterday with 958. Sims I got was the VTP sim and frame-relay hotspot. Strangely, when I first did the show run command on the first switch in the VTP sim, it did not say the default gateway anywhere. I searched through the config for about 5 minutes looking for it but it wasn’t there. All I did was use the show run command again and like magic, it was there this time. phew.
Cheers 9tut.
@Jbag
The same thing happened to me on the VTP sim. I wasted 12mins searching for the default-gateway. When I did show run it was not present, do show interfaces nothing. Finally, I did show run for the second time and BINGO magically appeared. Cisco needs to fix the VTP sim congrats by the way. If anyone taking the test be careful, if this happens do show run command twice.
I passed last Saturday 944. 9tut thanks. You were able to clarify and highlight specific issues Cisco thinks are important.
On the section “Implement and verify WAN Links.” I got 67% Im not sure what that covered but I would guess it would be the Frame Relay SIM question. They had a very similar question. Check out the CCNA Hotspot Frame Relay, half of the questions were on the test.
I had the VTP SIM. I am sure you have to make a trunk port between the two switches and do a ping.
I dont know who posted this but it was a great resource;

Can someone share what type of ACLs are covered in ICND2? I’ve read only standard,
extended and dynamic are covered (and that established/reflexive, time-based and
context-based access control (CBAC)) are not.
I took it last Wednesday and just found this site. All of the material is on point here. This is a treasure trove of test material. I had the frame relay sim and the VTP sim as well. Had a few others I’ve seen on here as well. All told I had 4 hotspots and 2 sims. Tough test. (I’m recertifying) my question is this. What material will I see when I retake the test? Will it be totally different or similar if I take it this Thursday?
I’d like to know how in-depth the ICND2 exam goes in relation to VPNs. There’s a lot that “could” be covered, but I would think any in-depth testing would be done with one of Cisco’s security exams. Just needing to know where to focus my attention as for as VPNs go for ICND2.
For VPN’s I only seen the multiple choice questions like: what ensures that data is unaltered between sender and recipient? Answer: Data Integrity (know the various algorithms functions/names)
I have a question regarding ACL’s (they bother me, together with IPv6 questions). It seems either Q1 or Q2 has a wrong answer. I think both should be like Q2 but am not 100% sure:
Q1:
A host with address 192.168.125.34 /27 needs to be denied access to all hosts outside its subnet. Answer: access-list 100 deny ip 255.255.25.255 0.0.0.0
Q2
Host C with address 192.168.125.34 /27 needs to be configured so it cannot access hosts outside its own subnet. Answer: access-list 100 deny ip 192.168.125.34 0.0.0.0
Pass ICND2 last Saturday thank to 9tut
Scored 898/1000
Taking My ICND2 Exam tommorow @ 12
Feel very confident
Went through every single question on this site lol
Good luck to all !
Can anyone share the retake experience? Is the second test very similar or totally different? Somewhere in between?
Took icnd2 yesterday and passed. study the output of sh frame relay map. vtp sim was there but diff ip addresses. the ospf testlet i think its new couldnt find it anywhere. i used 9tut and colliso and managed to get 930/1000. Thanks 9tut!
Goodluck to you all!
Passed Yesterday 930/1000!
Excellent site, the best place to be for answers and solutions to these exam questions. Had frame relay hotspot, VTP sim, OSPF. Had 3 or so drag and drops ACL, EIGRP. I would say 90% of my questions were on this site!
Whats next any suggestions?? Im not exactly in the IT/IS field or of a hybrid so CCNP is out of the question. Thought about ccna security, any thoughts? looking for more security and more advanced certs.
Hi all.
Where can I find “atm frame relay cell” for ICND!?
I am taking test this week. Can somebody help me with this because I was thinking that frame relay for eg. will be covered in ICND2… 🙁
Hey Guys – I have my ICND2 exam scheduled for this Saturday. I have 2 days left to refine my studying, any advice or tips that would help on test day?
Thanks in advance,
L7
Hi all,
Got exam on this Sunday. Can someone supply with latest dump (m_abdulla10@yahoo.com). Much appreciated
Barely passed thank you God. I paid for test king before I found this site. Test king is so so. This site and any of the stuff on examcollection.com is all I used. I used Transcender the first time and it was trash. New posters- if you scroll back up you can find all the necessary links.
I had the frame relay hotspot question. The cities and questions are different so know frame relay. On mine I had to use show ip route to verify a packet destination. There is a new OSPF Hotspot https://www.9tut.net/icnd2/ospf-questions here. One of the questions was how many networks will be in the routing table. I’m pretty weak on OSPF so I struggled with it. Had the VTP sim. Lots of multiple choice. Two drag and drops i can remember were the loop prevention technologies.
My advice study this site. Get the VCe files mentioned here. I grabbed Daniels too seems good. Get the packet tracer and do the sims.
Just Passed after failing the first time I took the test. I worked really hard doing Test Simulations to get my speed up. This really helped! 75 minutes is not a lot of time to take the test. Had the VTP sim and Frame Relay Hotspot. Know these well. Also had some IPV6 questions. I will be making a donation to this website. I appreciate the material here and the tutorials. Thanks!
Just passed ICND2 today. There was VTP sim and Frame Relay hotspot and also OSPF sim. Thanks 9tut.
Is this happened to any one?. Booked exam @ 4:00pm today but recived a call from test centre @11:00am that they closed and exams are cancelled. Now cant change time for another 3 days due to UK bank holidays 🙁 any suggestions or alternative to rebook ASAP?
@ Malik,
Everything happens for a reason.
Take a chill, its not the end of the world.
Use this time wisely and brush up on some of the material.. you won’t lose.
@Malik, that’s very unprofessional of the test center. They should have told you to book for another date. Just use the extra couple of days to study.
I know that pass score of ICND1 is 804
What is ICND2 pass score today?
@ Naydizzle and Phenom.
Thanks for your advice guys. Your right, lets look at the flip side and use it to revise.
cheers :d :d
Funny, I took the ICND2 Test yesterday and failed with a 790. I was very confident and as I had studied hard for 5 straight weeks everyday, all day using Boson Sims, Boson tests, and Skillsoft. I immediately recognized the questions posted here as I had trouble with the same VTP, FR and OSPF questions as they killed my time. This looks to be a great resource for training. My next test will be in 2 to 3 weeks. Thanks All, I will use this and definately donate after I become a CCNA and get a job.
ICND2 is only 75 minutes (TIME CRUNCH) and must have an 825 to pass according to my print out.
All praise to Allah!!!
Passed ICND2 today. All thanks to 9tut,examcollection and Jermy CBT nuggets for their great work. All sim (VTP, Frame relay and ACL) are from this site and almost 60-70% question are covered from 9tut, VCE Daniel 232q and 204q. But a word of warning, Do not memories the answers, Understand the concept since all IP, MAC,DLCI etc.. changed. Try not to spend too much time with SIM.
All the very best for everyone who is preparing for the exam. Good luck.
I wrote ICND2 on 3rd jun which was only for 75 minutes with 43 questions.
Just passed this test. You want to past this test, it’s simple, study the dumps 60% of the time and study the concepts 40% of time. This is a test that is particulary designed to trick you with non-sensical wording in the questions and concepts that do not carry over to real world scenarios. It is because of this that the dumps wind up having more importance than most of the cr@p you study. Honestly, I find it a shame that Cisco has to result to trick-wording in its test questions in order to fail a higher percentage of CCNA candidates.
Good Luck.
Make sure you really prepare for ICND2, I took it last month and passed with 916/1000. Cisco word questions crazy with can have multiple answers. Also, don’t second guess yourself and try not to read into the question too much. Cisco use these tactics in order to fail many test takers that’s how they make there money lol… So sad but true. I highly recommend making your own labs in Packet Tracer and incorporate everthing from this site ACL, NAT, EIGRP, OSPF, VLANS, PORT SERCURITY and you’ll pass even read a book or two.
Good Luck to all you test takers if you need some Packet Tracer Labs let me know 🙂
Failed today this morning. All the questions have been changed. Cisco must have swapped with new pool!!! Anyone else in the US please confirm!
Can someone confirm/deny what ^MPLS^ is saying? I’ve studied hard but it would help me sleep better knowing the entire test hasn’t changed.
Look at the comments over there at examcollection. People from the UK, US, reporting recently the questions have changed… maybe not entire test… but a good majority portion of it… and also new sims… the sims on 9tut, etc are no longer valid. New VTP, Frame Relay, NAT, ACL, OSPF, and EIGRP sims and simlets and etc. Means unless you know the material very well, the change just significantly decreased your odds of passing, especially if you were counting on the dumps to help boost score and speed up time. 43 new questions and four or five new time consuming sims all in 75 minutes? Even CCIE will have trouble passing this exam.
MPLS please update us on the new sims. Just scheduled my exam for next week, hope I’m still able to pass. I understand the concepts however since I am not a native English speaker I have trouble with the wording of some questions and as a result choose the wrong answer. Has only ICND2 changed or CCNA as well?
I’m taking it (ICND2) tomorrow. I’ll update you guys on whether or not it really is changed, how much it is changed and what is the nature of the newer sims compared to older. Maybe MPLS is telling the truth, maybe he is exaggerating… I’ll know tomorrow… hope I pass…. I’m pulling an all nighter and cramming, since if it is true that pool has changed I won’t be able to sleep well tonight anyway.
Good luck 528491! I wish you will pass the exam. I’m cramming as well and review any question I have wrong so I won’t make the same mistake twice. Would like to hear if the sims still have the same basics or if they contain new tasks. For example Frame Relay now usually consists of a show command, curious if they did a major change to configure a FR. I can imagine how you feel, just try to relax and sleep enough.
I know what you mean… yeah I’ll update tomorrow night… depending on how it goes I might update sooner, if you know what I mean…. but I’ll update you guys no matter what.
Yes that is exactly how I’m currently preparing… at exam time it is so easy to panic since you are pressured for time… so I boiled each sim down to its basics and try to write out the core commands so I can faster recall…
for example for the current VTP sim (assuming still accurate)…
1) show running-config
2) show vtp status
3) interface Vlan1
4) vtp mode client
5) vtp mode domain 9tut
6) copy run start
frame relay is just two commands
1) Show frame-relay map
2) Show running-config
OSPF is basically :
show running-config
router ospf 2
no network 192.168.155.0 0.0.0.3 area 0
network 192.168.155.4 0.0.0.3 area 0
copy run start
NAT sim boils down to
ip nat pool mypool [ip] [ip] netmask [ip]
access-list 1 permit [ip] [wildcard mask]
ip nat inside source list 1 pool mypool overload
Of course all of this is useless if the sims are all changed and multiple choice questions are significantly altered…
Oh well… might have to learn it toe hard way and actually watch the CBT videos, read the Odom books, practice the labs, etc….
There is no shortage of resources out there, but so little time so much to do….
Hi everyone. i passed my ICND 1. i just want to find out do you guys learn the ccna labs aswell for the ICND 2 exam??
Anyone who take the test in US this morning, did you pass? Is still valid dump or no?
I passed the ICND2 today. A few of the comments here and on examcollection had me worried – but I’m pretty sure those people that failed just didn’t study that well.
I have a terrible memory but a good deal of the questions were familiar. I paid for Xallax’s VCE files from his site and they seemed worth it. They were spot on for the ICND1 (which I also purchased) so I figured it was worth a shot.
This site has been a huge help. My thanks was given in the form of buying the VCE from ciscovce.com
*I saw the VTP and frame relay sims.*
I watched CBTNuggets and read Wendell Odom’s book – both are worth your time.
LEARN THE CONCEPTS and you’ll be fine! I’m a CCNA now! Woohoo!
This is 528491 from up above. I passed as well. Still valid at least in the US. Pretty high score I got. Got only one simlet OSPF that I hadn’t seen before. Asked about what is the router ID of a particular router that was on the boarder of (the one) area and with its serial interface connected to ISP with two or three fa0 interfaces connected to other devices inside the area. Also asked how many different ip address summarized by OSPF or something like that… I didn’t have time to count them all so just picked random number of 6…. but answers range from 1 to 7. In that same simlet had a question about what command overloads OSPF for bandwidth (referring to OSPF overloading bandwidth, not NAT overloading) among the choices were “clock rate”, “bandwidth”, and some others with the “ospf” keyword embedded in the phrases and answer choices that I can’t remember… but overall I just took a guess and got that simlet wrong… other than that everything e4lse is same and valid. Took today (see timestamp) in the US
Is this the same in the uk? Its strange that they would change the icnd2 exam and leave the icnd1 and ccna
Can a mod please confirm please
🙂
@uk
yes, same question pool world-wide for english-speaking test takers.
follow 9tut and you’ll be ok
@xallax so is this site still valid or not ?
Many thanks
@uk
yes sir, read 9tut.net and 9tut.com for icnd1/icnd2/ccna
cheers
9TUT! 9TUT! 9TUT!
Friends don’t worry about new OSPF testlet that you guys are referring. It is an old OSPF testlet that is available in many old ICND2 PDFs. Try this link:
http://dc386.4shared.com/doc/yPoKQf8r/preview.html
Just passed today (958/1000)! This is a really great site.
I had the VTP Sim, and most of the questions came from this site and the dumps (204q). They are absolutely still valid, and anybody who says they aren’t obviously didn’t study much.
Only thing I found is that several of the questions came from the CCNA test pool, so be sure to study those as well. The frame relay hotspot from that section, and one EIGRP question were only from that.
Hi Mikemonk, where can I get the CCNA test pool questions from?
What type of ACLs are on the test (beyond standard and extended)? How complex do they get?
@MikeMonk use the CCNA section on this website. Some of the questions are included in the various vce dumps as well.
Passed the exam today with a score of 986/1000. All questions from 9tut and 204q dumps. Thx 9tut.
@thunder
Where u from uk or us?
@Thunder
Congrats, what SIMS did you have in your exam?
Don’t just say “I passed the exam.” Provide some feedback!!!
taking this thing on Tuesday. studying like crazy and feeling very good on the concepts. i’ll be back to let everyone know the status of the exam and if i saw anything changed or different.
I passed the exam but i have a few concerns. Do the EIGRP sim have bugs? Even though I’ve put the network statement there was no adjacency, I also used wildcard mask together with the network statements. The routes did not propagate. Even in the diagram and in the “show ip interfaces brief” an ip address there does not match with the diagram. Or am I missing something? I’ve checked the EIGRP sim here and it seems that I’ve put the correct commands.
On the ACL sim, i’ve got only 50%, i was thinking if the sim strictly required 3 ACL statement because I only put 2 statement but I think those were correct.
And there were times that the hide topology button won’t work. I think I spent 30 minutes on the EIGRP sim.
@n1kn0k
Was there quite a lot of IPv6 questions in the exam?
Can anyone comment on what we need to know for the ICND2 exam in relation to VPN/IPsec???? There’s a LOT that could be tested on. Just trying to narrow it down a bit.
passed today with 870 on seconf attempt. VTP sim , Frame Relay Hotspot, ospf load balancing, ospf loop back.
Anyone get an access-list configuration sim on ICND2?
passed today, most of the sims are on here or simillar. lots of questions came from the Lead2Pass dump.
@nutts
Where can I get hold of the Lead2Pass dumps?
practice question on
http://www.ciscovce.com
Are these questions up to date? If so when were they updated, as I believe the content has changed in the real exam recently!
These questions are definately a HUGE help and are up to date. I passed my ICND-2 test yesterday with a 960 and 30 minutes left on the clock. SIMS were VTP, OSPF, FRAME-RELAY. The first time I failed cause I ran out of time. How did I do so well this time? Know your theory! Know how to subnet quickly in your head if possible. Go through every question here including ICND1, ICND2, & CCNA. Also a BIG help was Packet Tracer. I built my own labs based on the Sim questions here and after you do that and go through the sims 3 or 4 times each, you will fly through the test like a hot knife through butter. Thanks 9TUT I will donate with my first pay check ! On to CCNP ! Good luck all !

@ nutts
thanks a lot mate
Does anyone have a valid link for the Lead2Pass ICND2 pdf?
Came across this in RFC 3513. Good examples of incorrectly formatted IPv6 addresses. They might throw something like this at you on the ICND2 exam:
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The following are legal representations of the 60-bit prefix 12AB00000000CD3 (hexadecimal):
12AB:0000:0000:CD30:0000:0000:0000:0000/60
12AB::CD30:0:0:0:0/60
12AB:0:0:CD30::/60
The following are NOT legal representations of the above prefix:
12AB:0:0:CD3/60 may drop leading zeros, but not trailing zeros,
within any 16-bit chunk of the address
12AB::CD30/60 address to left of “/” expands to
12AB:0000:0000:0000:0000:000:0000:CD30
12AB::CD3/60 address to left of “/” expands to
12AB:0000:0000:0000:0000:000:0000:0CD3
Can anyone point me in the right direction where the Frame Relay SIM is located on this website?
Taking the test today at 11:15 CST. Going over the sims now.
Took the test today and passed. This is a very helpful site. I used it for my ICND1 & 2 exams. Thanks!
I passed my ICND2 exam today. 958/1000. It was my second time taking the test and this time around it was MUCH easier. I only got one sim, VTP. All the questions came from either this site or this, http://www.examcollection.com/cisco/Cisco.Lead2pass.640-816.v2012-05-15.by.Daniel.232q.vce.file.html
The first time I had questions from the CCNA pool of sims. I would recommend using this site as a primary reference along with the vce file mentioned above. I will donate to this site for providing valuable information for those of us who know the material but arent good test takers. THANKS!
Passed as well a while ago, had the VTP sim and the Frame Relay thingy. Made a small error in that one and did not pay attention in another question that stated it was using ip subnet zero. All in all a great score and now preparing for Security. Not sure what I will do after that since my Voice book exam version has expired.
Can anyone shed some light on ip subnet zero?????
Ash
When a router is configured with no ip subnet-zero command it wont accept 0 subnet.
Example : lets say we have 192.168.0.0 subnet .
It wont except it but it will accept any other subnet – 192.168.1.0 for example.
Ash
With /24 mask i mean…..
