    Not able to find latest ICND 2 dumps…. many questions are changed in new exam…. I am also seeing only around 40 questions are there in new exam and 4-5 sims….

    Hey can any body take a responsibility so that we all can donate him through paypal and he can buy latest P4S ICND2 dumps and convert them to PDF and distribute to us…….

    10 dollars per user is more than enough i think…….

    Today, I cleared ICND 2 with 946/1000 Marks. I got New VTP Sim as discussed already on 9tut and frame relay, OSPF Simlet. Drag and drops are all from the dumps. 8 – 10 multiple choice questions are new.

    @James,

    I used ACME, Mashti (640-802) dump and Wizard, Crazy Hunter (640-816) dumps. You can download them from examcollection.com

    Also don’t forget to use matty’s document (link on page 5), OSPF simlet is same as in Matty’s doc but topology is change. Questions are also same. The topology diagram is on link mentioned below:

    Guys,

    I just made a real scenario of VTP SIM in packet tracer. You can download it for practice. The same SIM I got in exam today.

    Close but no cigar 757/825. There’s new questions I haven’t seen from ACME or Crazy Hunter or Wizard. There’s the new switch sim which was unclearn and then got the ospf sim. Also got new drag and drops that I haven’t seen. I’ll wait till someone post the new Qs before taking the test again. Almost ran out of time due to the new questions.

    Passed ICND2 today with 905/1000. Had VTP Sim, Frame Relay simlet,OSPF Sim. Only used Acme and info from this site. Took test 2 weeks ago and scored 784 before finding this site. Soooo glad its over.

    Back of the net!!!! 973/1000 I was sure I had failed half way through

    second time i took the exam. used CBT and trainsignal, to have two different people talking about the same subject meant more info stayed in.

    I had the VTP, OSPF and Frame relay question and quite a few from the Acme dump but there were a lot of new questions.

    If you are using the dumps I think it is just as important to realise why the other answers are wrong. by removing the obviously incorrect answers you improve your chances.

    best of luck lads

    Guys,

    I recall some of the new questions which were present in ICND 2 exam (yesterday). I made JPEG’s of 8 questions with answers (Including the New OSPF Simlet). You can download them using following link:

    http://www.4shared.com/file/XEOKlLKm/New_ICND_2_Questions.html

    I already share a new VTP SIM yesterday on the followng link:

    I just recall another new question :

    Two routers are connected to each other via serial cable and they provide the status of serial0/0 of first router:

    Router1#show interface serial0/0
    Serial0/0 is Up, Line protocol is up
    encapsulation HDLC, etc , etc

    and all the other status options shows that the link is operational and currently handling the traffic.

    I just remember the answer for this question.

    Answer: The router at the other side of Serial0/0 is using the default WAN encapsulation.

    I’m confused about 2 question, both of them have different answer on different dumps.
    First one asks which switch is best route switch for vlan 20. I have seen answers SW-B and SW-E, which one is correct?

    Second one diagrams 3 router connected and asks which route will be selected from R3 to R1’s connected network. I have seen answers of R3 to R1 and R3 to R2 to R1. So which one is correct?

    I’m not posting whole question with diagram and stuff because you probably have seen them already and you know which question I’m talking about. Thanks

  26. W
    November 12th, 2010

    @wnd

    Your Question:

    Second one diagrams 3 router connected and asks which route will be selected from R3 to R1′s connected network. I have seen answers of R3 to R1 and R3 to R2 to R1. So which one is correct?

    Answer: I think you don’t saw the routing table entries in both the questions. both questions have different routing table.

    For R3 to R2 to R1 and R3 to R1:

    You can see in routing table that there are two routes learned by EIGRP to reach a destination and EIGRP is able to do Un-equal path load balancing so the packets go through both the routes to reach the destination.

    For R3 to R1:

    In this question you can see that there is only one router learned by EIGRP to reach the destination i.e. R3 to R1.

  40. Alabama
    November 14th, 2010

    Hi Yall!
    @haybusa, Sorry I didn’t say there was a DIFFERENT OSPF SIM, I SAID:

    I got the OSPF Simlet as well, but the topology pic was different(See at the link: Rar$DI97.203\Q8 – OSPF Simlet.JPG).

    I had a look back through the posts, but I couldn’t find the link that I used to get this exact download. It was by a poster that had 8 new questions. Maybe they can come back and post that link again. The only thing that was different was the PICTURE and obviously the IP’s and whatnot. Sorry for the confusion there…I WAS STILL CELEBRATING WHEN I WROTE MY PREVIOUS POST…LOL

    @ya wnd, from what I can tell, going back through my class notes and books, regarding ACL’s(access-class vs. access-group) is the following:

    Access List – Controlling vty lines:
    Router(config)#line vty {# | vty-range}
    Router (config-line)#access-class {access-list-number} {in | out}

    Example:
    Router (config-line)#line vty 0 4
    Router(config-line)#access-class 101 in

    If you are configuring an ACL on an INTERFACE, I think that’s when you use the access-group.

    Example:
    Router(config)#interface serial 0
    Router(config-if) ip access-group 101 in
    HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!! If someone has a better, or more clear explanation, please come forward to help wnd understand…IT’S NOT ALL ABOUT DUMPS FOLKS, YOU REALLY HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THIS STUFF TO PASS THESE EXAMS…CISCO WOULDN’T HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY!!!!!!

    @ya wnd again, sthrnbelle007 has it right, but the best thing here is to check out Matty’s link for the new VTP sim…here it is:
    http://www.4shared.com/get/is-yYcMM/exam_questions_ICND2_oct_2010.html
    The VTP SIM is at the back of this document. Matty has it spot on, so just understand his material and you should have no problems.

    I had a question where they showed a MAC address table on a catalyst switch. In this table there where was a port that was listed a number of times with different MAC addresses. The question was what kind of device is connected to this port.
    The answers where
    A. End user machine
    B. Router
    C. Hub
    D. Switch

  45. Zizco
    November 15th, 2010

    I remember this question but I believe that the symbol was not for a hub but for an ATM switch. See both at http://www.itaustinweb.com/cisco/ccna/cisco-network-symbols.html
    The correct answer was therefore D

    @GRiN Found this

    Found on page 7.1.8.1 of CCNA Exploration 4.0 Accessing the WAN

    “The show ip dhcp conflict command displays all address conflicts recorded by the DHCP server. The server uses the ping command to detect conflicts. The client uses Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) to detect clients. If an address conflict is detected, the address is removed from the pool and not assigned until an administrator resolves the conflict. “

    @Kolonel_Sander
    In my case the question did not mention ‘hub’ or ‘switch’ but showed four network symbols: a PC, a router, an ATM switch and a switch. Since the MAC address table had more entries for the port the answer could be hub or switch. Since, in my case, the symbol for hub was not present the only possible answer was switch.

    I assumed that you mixed up the symbol for the ATM switch with the one for a hub. Sorry about that. The link I provided shows all the network symbols.

    Regarding VTP sim, The question there, is to use the first IP of the subnet. How come that you use 62? I know that 61 is used by SW0(SW1). Right?

  53. Kolonel_Sander
    November 15th, 2010

    @GRiN

    You’re right. The question above does mention this. But the second example asks you to use the last IP.

    This is not right, it should be 60 as 61 is in use by sw1 and 62 is the broadcast address. So 60 is the last available address. Thanks I will update the sheet.

    But bear in mind that on the exam they will ask for you to use the first and sometimes the last ip in the subnet.

    Took the ICND2 yesterday and failed. Scored an 811 and needed an 825. VTP SIM, OSPF SIMLET, Frame Relay, IPV6 questions. One was valid Addresses, other was types of IPV6 Transition Mechanisms. I used Pass4Sure and Wendel Odom’s Books.

    this Doc is pretty much the latest pass4sure screenshots

    also do not take the test until you can answer ALL the questions correctly without hesitating. This way you know you will at least get those right on the test and you can concentrate on solving the ones that aren’t. also practice the labs in packet tracer..I got through ICND1 in 35 minutes and ICND2 in 40 minutes using this approach!

    u r telling that the actual test v1.9 is a valid dump?

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Hi, yes, the V1.9 of Actual Test had (check my previous post for actual number of questions) a gang of questions on the exam. My exam was last Thursday (11Nov2010), and I have it on GREAT authority that CISCO changes the exam (maybe a different pool of questions) at least once every 5 days! So, you may be cutting it close now. From what I can tell, the same VTP sim, OSPF simlet and FRAME RELAY simlet has been valid for a month and a half now. But there has been a couple of posts that say they had an ACL and NAT sim, but the majority have had the VTP, OSPF and Frame Relay that we all know and love! My advice…grab the next person who posts saying that they just took the exam, link them the V1.9 and have them go through it for/with you (if that person is that kind, and willing to go through 225 questions for a stranger…). Then you will know where you stand. I didn’t use any other dumps listed here…JUST ACTUAL TEST FOR ME. I will check my Actual Test website right now for you, to see if there is a ‘later’ version out, but to my knowledge V1.9 is the latest and greatest, AND AS OF 11NOV2010…STILL VALID…BIGTIME!!!!!!!!
  70. oannet
    November 17th, 2010
    @Zizco:
    applying default-information originate transform the router in ASBR ospf
    and the injection of the default route in OSPF routing table must be on asbr router:
    Normally conf:ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 s0/1 or 200.0.0.2 (IP of ISP router)
    There is a misconfiguration on router R1
    That is why R2 will not form neig with R1
    @oannet
    Thanks a lot man for pointing this out! I appreciate that.
    Is the ‘default-information originate’ part of CCNA? I can’t find any reference in Odom’d book nor in the CCNA IOS Commands survival guide. I found an explanation on the Cisco site:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_3t/ip_route/command/reference/ip2_c1gt.html#wp1094366
    Am I correct to say that, if the ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 s0/1 command was used instead of the ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 s0/0 command, all would work well? In that case, would the answer be B?
    @Zizco
    The answer could not be B) ->because in ospf, router do incremetal update. the full update become necessary when putting new router in the same area.
    @aonnet
    Thanks again! I read ‘full routing table’ as ‘will receive all updates’ but you are right.
    I did not find ‘default-information originate’ in Wendell Odom’s book. Are there other items that are not in the book?
    Passed today. Similar in questions that I posted last time. All my matching/sim questions were at the end, and I was taking my time thinking I wasn’t going to have any. Ended up with 25 seconds to spare.
    @ya honabusa,
    I had the 2 IPV6 questions: Q1: which 2 are true of IPV6 representation: ANS-1) single interface may be assigned to multiple IPV6 addresses of any type: ANS-2) Every IPV6 interface contains at least 1 Loopback Address.
    Q2: What is the term called when IPV6 is inside IPV4: ANS-Tunneling.
    Some folks said they had the DUAL-STACK ROUTING question: Running both IPV4 AND IPV6 on a Router at the same time…
    Yea, I don’t remember having any VPN questions specifically. Tons of VLAN questions in many different forms. I’d concentrate in that area of study more than VPN’s.
    Like I posted on 8, I only studyed Actual Test and Matty’s doc (MIGHTY FINE post on 5). The 1 week bootcamp did little to prepare me for the exam, so study as much as you can.
    Hope this helps….check out my previous post on 8 for more detailed info on my ICND2 EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!
    @His Majesty 9TUT,
    Hi, KING TUT! I have the Actual Test Version 2.0 for CCNA Security. I was just wondering do you have a separate forum for that, or have you made plans to add it here?
    Just checking…may go CCNP instead, but CCNA Security and CCNA Voice seem to be the mosre popular avenue of study these days?
    Thanks In Advance!
    Passed my ICND2 this late afternoon. Been spending quite a bit of time on this site last night and today, definitely helps! make sure you go through the comments esp those from Alabama, thanks.
    I had 3 sims, 2 of them are just like those from Matty’s document:
    http://www.4shared.com/get/is-yYcMM/exam_questions_ICND2_oct_2010.html
    1) Frame Relay sim – just different rtr names
    2) VTP sim – same q, domain was ‘river’
    For the third sim, it is the one from… http://www.4shared.com/file/XEOKlLKm/New_ICND_2_Questions.html
    3) OSPF sim – same diagram and questions
    These questions from Matty’s document also came up – Q1 from page 6, plus…
    #37 from page 2 (same diagram, not RIP though, Host 1 can’t ping Host 2 but can ping R2, output from R1 only and showed ‘show ip int br’, s0/0 link is up, protocol down, q was ‘what are the 2 likely reasons?’)
    #64 from page 5 (q was related to link-state, but asking what is the disadvantage of link-state, options were used a lot of rtr resource, high usage on bandwith and 3 other options which i don’t remember)
    Quite a few Qs from Actual Tests V1.9 turn up. #3, 4, 5, 7, 16 (similar, but has an extra rtr attached where you can view the IP, so u can figure out the rest), 24 (similar, but that rtr is root switch and choose 2 correct answers), 27, 31 (this q came up twice, one is same as original, the other one is what is the effect if change to ‘ip access-group 106 out’ on s0/0), 38, 41, 64, 127, 131, 143, 162, 214.
    Got 4 drag n drop, 3 which i haven’t seen before but easy. There were about 10 Qs i haven’t seen before in dumps and i don’t quite recall what they were. But if you know the basic and read the book, you should be okay. One Q on 802.1Q, one Q on RSTP (to do with port state i.e. listening, learning and forwarding). For sure, there was no VPN. Good luck everyone.
    Failed today. Very disappointing…anyway reataking next Saturday. I scored 700 but only got through 32 questions. I had the Frame Realy sim(on this site), and the VTP sim(never seen before).
    most question were on VTP, NAT, Frame Relay, and OSPF. several drop and drags that are on this site.
    Switch LP_2 was just added to the network. Configure the ip address and default gateway.
    Use the next available address from the management interface. Consider Switch LP_1’s VTP configuration to be correct. No router configuration is needed. I dont remeber the rest I panicked with only 9 minutes to go.
    I had a similar question to the one Joe is referring. The topology was the same as to Q. 13 in the SG document, but with the telnet scenario.
    The question I had said something similar to: Deny telnet traffic from the accounting department to the webserver while not affecting telnet traffic from the HR department. Where would you place the accecss list?
    I assumed it would be E0 on R1 since that was closest to the source of the Accounting Department… Would that be correct?
